The IDF recovered her body on May 17, 2024. 🕯️ Shiri Bibas, 32, was abducted by Hamas with her 4-year-old, Ariel, and 9-month-old, Kfir. Her husband, Yarden, 34, was abducted separately as well. Shiri and her two children were murdered in captivity. In February 2025, they were finally returned to Israel, awaited by Yarden, who was released earlier that month alive. 🕯️ Shlomo Mantzur, 85, was the oldest hostage taken by Hamas. He was murdered by Hamas on October 7, and his body was taken to Gaza. Shlomo fled the Farhud, a massacre of Bagdhad's Jews, in 1941. 🕯️ Lianne, 48, Noiya, 16, and Yahel Sharabi, 13, were murdered by Hamas in their home in Kibbutz Be'eri on October 7. Yahel had just been Bat Mitzvah'd in July. After the attacks, a soldier found their bodies cuddled together. Eli Sharabi, Lianne's husband and the girls' father, was taken hostage and returned after 491 days. Three years since October 7th. We haven't forgotten a single one of them. Karni Guez donne l'ordre d'engager immédiatement l'ennemi, et le peloton ouvre le feu, les combats dureront près d'une heure, plus d'une vingtaine de combattants du Hamas seront éliminés, leurs véhicules et arsenal détruits, et plus important encore, la vague d'infiltration sur leur position est refoulée. Cette menace neutralisée, Guez donne l'ordre de faire mouvement vers le kibboutz H'olit. Son peloton engage alors le combat contre des unités du Hamas lourdement armées qui tentent de pénétrer dans le kibboutz, et parvient à manoeuvrer dans le même temps pour protéger des soldats blessés. Au cours de ces manoeuvres, les soldates élimineront de nombreux combattants du Hamas, par le feu de leur tank, ou en les écrasant lorsqu'ils tenteront de fuir. La menace sur H'olit neutralisée, Guez choisit de se déplacer vers le kibboutz Sufa, dont le poste militaire a été pris d'assaut par les hommes du Hamas. Alors que le réseau de communication principal est dysfonctionnel, elle prend position et engage les hommes du Hamas pour reprendre lentement le terrain. Les soldates de Karni Guez reçoivent par la suite le renfort de commandos Shayetet 13, auxquels elles procurent alors un appui feu précieux pour finalement déraciner et repousser le Hamas, au terme de plus de 6 heures de combat. Elles entament alors une opération de combat de rue, et de nettoyage maison par maison, bâtiment par bâtiment, pour secourir les civils pris au piège et leur permettre d'évacuer sains et saufs. La bataille de Sufa aura duré en tout plus de 12 heures. Ce n'est que vers 2 heures du matin, après 19 heures de combats acharnés, à bout de force et de munitions, que Karni Guez ordonne finalement le repli de son peloton vers leur camp de base. Le Leadership et le sang-froid de Karni, qui a improvisé seule, sans communications et sans ordres son plan de bataille tout au long de la journée, et la combativité, le professionnalisme et l'héroïsme de ses soldates ont sauvé les kibboutzim de H'olit et de Sufa, et concrètement toute la région de H'evel Shalom. French rioters are blasting the rap song “MRH” which glorifies a terrorist who executed a 3 year old French Jewish child. Lyrics: “Like Mohamed Merah, dodging the cameras at the Bataclan, I shot him with my eyes, manhunt, Salah Abdeslam.” 14 years ago Mohammed Merah broke into a Jewish school in the French town of Toulouse and executed a pair of 3 year old and 5 year old French Jewish boys. He then chased an 8 year old Jewish girl named Myriam Monsonego. Merah caught her by her hair and raised a gun to execute her. His gun jammed, so he changed weapons. He then shot the little girl in the head while filming the execution with his GoPro. He later said that he carried out this crime to “uphold the honour of Islam.” He called it an act of revenge because “the Jews kill our brothers and sisters in Palestine.” According to one of his brothers, Merah was raised in an "atmosphere of racism and hatred" in their Muslim family. Merah's sister Souad later said, "I am proud of my brother. He fought until the end against the Jews, and all those who massacre Muslims, I detest them." According to his brother, when Merah's body was brought home, members of the local terrorist community visited the family to praise his actions and they cried tears of joy. Their only regret was that Merah had not killed more Jews. Merah was buried on 29 March 2012 in the Muslim section of the Cornebarrieu cemetery, near Toulouse. About 50 people attended, including the local imam. The mayor of Toulouse at the time tried to block Mohammed Merah’s burial, so French President Nicolas Sarkozy stepped in to support the burial. "He was French. Let him be buried and let's not have any arguments about it," Sarkozy said. Now he is held up as a hero by French rioters.

Awad Darawshe was 25 years old on October 7. An Arab-Israeli paramedic who dreamed of becoming a doctor, Awad was working at the Nova festival when Hamas attacked. As the massacre unfolded, he carried the wounded to the medical tent and treated patient after patient. When the gunfire became overwhelming, the medical team fled. Awad helped others escape—but refused to leave. There were wounded people who couldn’t run. Awad stayed and continued treating them. Hamas terrorists eventually murdered him inside the medical tent. When his body was recovered, bandages were still in his hands. Some of the people he treated survived. Thousands, Muslims, Jews, Christians, Druze and Circassians, came to mourn him. His father called Awad “our light.” On one of Israel’s darkest mornings, Awad had the chance to run. He stayed because wounded people needed him. May the light and courage of Awad Darawshe never be forgotten.

The lead author of the Green Party’s “Zionism is Racism” motion, Lubna Speitan, was identified in US federal court filings as a “close friend” of Minh Quang Pham. Pham was an al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula member who travelled to Yemen, swore allegiance to AQAP, received military and explosives training from senior terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki, and worked on the group’s Inspire propaganda magazine. He later admitted plotting a suicide bombing at Heathrow Airport, targeting the arrivals area used by flights from the US or Israel. He was sentenced in 2025 to 44 years in prison.
