Here’s the thing: I’m not mad at Texas Tech for playing the game. The game is the game and Texas fans getting mad about it lack self-awareness. Cody Campbell putting those awkward Save College Football commercials on my TV while playing the game is kinda lame though.
NEW: Rivals’ @SWiltfong_ and @samspiegs have logged expert predictions for Texas Tech to land 2027 5-star DL Jalen Brewster🌵 Read: on3.com/rivals/news/predicti…

That is the funniest part about it. He’s dropping huge sums of money on men’s sports while simultaneously crying about saving women’s sports.

And he is supporting women’s sports as well.

Newsflash: Dumping ridiculous sums of money into one school’s athletic programs, men or women, isn’t saving college sports. It damn sure isn’t saving them for the ladies. I’m not even mad about it. That’s the game now. Just stop acting like it is altruistic.

I don’t think dumping ridiculous money at college sports is the answer as well. Just think it is funny why Tech is catching crap for doing it while everyone else has the opportunity to play the same game and other teams are paying players too.

You’re free to check my profile if you’d like. The only tweets on the topic of NIL will be that schools are now just playing by the rules.

Newsflash: No shit, that’s why he’s raising awareness about it with ads and acting at the federal level with congress to see how things can be changed to save these lesser funded programs including women’s sports.

I’d engage this debate with you in good faith if you had honestly listened to Cody’s proposal. But you haven’t so you’re literally shouting nonesense into the ether.

I’ve never commented on his proposal.
