Here’s the thing: I’m not mad at Texas Tech for playing the game. The game is the game and Texas fans getting mad about it lack self-awareness. Cody Campbell putting those awkward Save College Football commercials on my TV while playing the game is kinda lame though.

He’s not wrong though. Schools like Iowa state can’t even afford a baseball team and now they’re forced to spend even more money to stay relevant. You can act like there’s nothing wrong but we might see really good programs turn into fbs programs in the future. It’s not good.

I saw a list yesterday of the top spending NIL schools. Every one of the schools listed except T-Tech kids would go to those schools if there were no NIL. Kids going to Tech are only going there because of NIL!! Nothing wrong with taking the bag but be honest about it!!
