Your side always does with Trump what they did to Charlie Kirk. It's smart, and disgusting. He was explaining that gas is temporarily higher because of the war with Iran, and that he believes the cost is justified if it helps keep Americans safe from a regime capable of threatening the homeland, including cities like LA or San Diego. Trump constantly weaves when he speaks, which makes him ridiculously easy to clip out of context. And your side knows it. You take a 10-second snippet, strip away everything before and after it, and count on people being too lazy to watch the full exchange. We don't get played by that because we actually listen to what he's saying and examine the context. Your side did the exact same thing with Charlie Kirk. That is the problem. Not that Trump or Kirk can't be criticized. It's that an entire political ecosystem has learned that context is optional when the goal is outrage.
