I care about devs. Most of the devs I have known are normal guys just trying to support their family in an unstable enviornment. Which is why we need to be TRUTHFUL about the issues in the industry. Your can't hide in your algorithmic bubble and ignore the market.
If you are celebrating the loss of over 400 dev jobs and the end of some of gaming's most celebrated IPs, you aren't a real gamer. That's just you being a hateful POS. Sorry to be the one to have to tell you.

All you have to do is make a fun game without gender politics. That's it. It's not hard. Putting pronouns in the character UI is not worth the livelihoods of all your devs and their families.
Capitalism will never be satisfied and will continue to kill everything. Thanks for some of the best games ever, BioWare.

All private businesses must pay their devs. If they are lighting money on fire, it puts all the AAA studios within the company at risk of failure. Go woke go broke is true. You must listen to the market. The leaders who allow millennials a long creative leash must shorten it.
I wish I could say I’m surprised. With how many missteps have been made with EA and so many rotations of teams… And before people say shit like “oh it’s veilguard’s fault” or “go w0ke go broke” you are severely stupid. This is the fault of EA and executives prioritizing money over good storytelling as they often do. I will always love dragon age and mass effect. And no amount of money hungry execs can change that 🩷

I'm a family member of a dev who got caught in the fallout of a previous woke project. The shutdown was the catalyst for my redpilling. I hope BW devs and their families use this as a chance to get curious and to question the worldview and internet bubble that led here.

The "literature" in question:
There’s so much more to life when you’re simply not a fucking racist. So many different varieties of food, music, literature, movies, etc etc to experience. So much history to learn from. Literally, racists hold themselves back from the joy of the human experience.

Kim Jong Un has reportedly passed away.

I learned today I was the main catalyst for converting a lapsed Mormon into a hyper-devout practicing member of the Mormon church. Whoops? (Never been LDS btw)

My mom’s hair dresser always cut her hair short and I swear she did it on purpose. Glad she moved away.
Story time! By the time I was in 5th grade, I had grown my hair to be very long, all the way to my hips. It was my mom that made me grow my hair that long. Up until that time, I never really cared about my hair or my looks so I never gave it much thought. None of my friends ever commented about it in any way. Then I got to middle school. We all hit puberty. Suddenly, my friends were telling me that my hair was too long and that I would look better with shorter hair. I distinctly remember that one of the girls who would tell me this had long hair herself, mine just happened to be longer. One day in 7th grade, as I was walking out of the school cafeteria after lunch, a girl tapped me on my shoulder and asked “is that your hair?” as she pointed towards the floor. I was confused and didn’t know what she meant until I looked down and saw a lock of hair of about 3-4 inches just lying there. I asked her, “Whose hair is that?” and she said, “Yours.” I looked at my hair that was in a braid, and sure enough, a chunk was cut and missing. I was shocked until I heard a laugh behind me. It was one of my “friends”, she was laughing out loud with a pair of scissors in her hand. She thought it was hilarious. Of course, I was very hurt. The ends of my hair were uneven for months (I didn’t want to cut it so I just waited until it grew back). Anyways, girls commenting about how much better I’d look with shorter hair continued throughout my entire adolescence. Female intrasexual competition is 100% real, it starts out very young, and it is vicious. A lot of times women don’t even realize that they’re doing it. The jealousy and desire to bring a woman down in order to bring themselves up comes naturally for many. Any woman that isn’t being dishonest and that grew up with women will confirm that. You don’t really need a study to know this, but in this case this study is based on reality.

we're basically in a civil war. their plan: -censorship and mute RW social media (meta defeated, thanks elon) -lawfare to arrest/harass undesirables (countless) -influencers to normalize violence (hassan) -DDOS violence (antifa, assassins) to kill if necessary (kirk, thompson)
How is it ok for a US Senator to say this?

What’s interesting about Gerwig’s Narnia and other recent flops is that it seems the liberals are committing the creative sin conservatives are usually guilty of. Conservatives typically suck at art because they can’t help but use it as a vehicle for own ideology. They hollow it out, insert their beliefs in very cringe and obvious ways, and then send it off. They don’t trust the art to speak for itself. For decades now. Liberals have excelled in the arts because they don’t do this. Lately however, that has not seemed to be the case. We’re starting to see a reversal, and I’m excited and hopeful to see what happens next.

Narnia started pre-production in 2020. We are now seeing the final gasps of peak woke, the larger projects that took the longest time to complete. So much money was given to bad projects during Covid, and the cultural pivot didn’t fully start until 2024…
Greta Gerwig’s $280 Million ‘Narnia’ Reportedly an ‘Awful’ Disaster as Netflix Scrambles to Fix Film “Netflix may have a $280 million problem on its hands. Just one day after Greta Gerwig’s controversial Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew trailer debuted, a new insider report alleges that the expensive fantasy adaptation has been plagued by disappointing test screenings, additional filming, and growing tensions behind the scenes.”

That’s why we are still seeing woke projects pop up despite the financial disasters. You cannot just right something that has its foundations poured in 2020. It’s rotten to the core.

This is the shooter. If I saw this picture prior to this happening I would have immediately said “this guy will shoot up a school” People wear who they are on the outside. People need to get honest about freaks and societal miscreants
