Settlers assaulted a young boy, Joud Mahmoud Awad. He had been asleep inside one of the homes that was set on fire. According to eyewitnesses, several settlers choked him, kicked him, and dragged him out of the house while others were setting his house on fire. His sister had also been asleep inside the house. She locked herself inside an interior bathroom and remained trapped in heavy smoke while the house burned until the attackers left the area.

Last night, Wednesday, August 5, around 9:50 p.m., dozens of Israeli settlers attacked the community of Tuba, in Masafer Yatta, in the occupied West Bank.
After cutting power lines, the attackers set fire to homes, with at least three houses totally burned, along with an outdoor kitchen, hay bales, and livestock feed.
