As a result, we’re currently unable to offer additional monetary rewards for new submissions while next steps for the program are considered. Security reports remain important and can still be submitted through the usual channels. We have been following the security incident affecting SecondFi closely, and our thoughts are with everyone impacted. On scope, and to help avoid wider concern, this is an isolated issue specific to SecondFi’s own wallet software. Other wallets across the Cardano ecosystem are not affected, and at the network level Cardano continues exactly as intended - with the ledger intact and consensus producing and validating blocks without interruption. We have also seen the community step in to investigate and support the response, a reflection of how this ecosystem rallies when it matters. That collaborative instinct is one of Cardano’s real strengths. For those affected, however, the official @secondfiapp account remains the authoritative channel for updates on the incident, the response, and any next steps. A reminder, incidents like this attract opportunists. Stay alert to impersonation and phishing. No legitimate party will ever ask for your seed phrase or private keys.

The van Rossem hard fork initiation governance action has been submitted on the Cardano mainnet. An intra-era hard fork that introduces some new features and lays the foundation for the next major era, Dijkstra, which will ultimately bring Leios to Cardano mainnet. Looking to the future, while honoring the journey here. This hard fork is named after Cardano community member, Max van Rossem. A dedicated builder; developer, SPO, DRep, Constitutional Convention delegate, and so much more. Following Max’s untimely passing in October 2025, the Cardano community voted to dedicate this hard fork in Max’s honor in early 2026. The info action, “Name Protocol Version 11 hard fork - van Rossem”, received 83.62% DRep (and 4.44B ada) support. A lasting dedication in memory of Max has been written within the proposal metadata. Attending the @linuxfoundation Open Source Summit North America 2026 reinforced an important lesson: People are ready to learn more about blockchain. Across conversations with developers, maintainers, and open-source leaders, we found genuine curiosity about how blockchain can help address challenges around trust, coordination, reputation, incentives, and collaboration at scale. What stood out was not skepticism, but thoughtful questions and a willingness to explore new approaches when connected to real-world problems. The opportunity is significant. There is a large audience eager to understand what this technology makes possible. The key is continuing to engage, listen, and build bridges between communities. @andamio_teams is proud to be part of that effort.
