Grab a snack and a beverage. Cobia's been almost Velcro'd to his side since 2018, when she was his Deputy Campaign Manager, and "has been described as Gov. Newsom’s 'Swiss army knife,' involved in basically all manner of political decisions the governor makes." She still has a picture of the two of them on the 2018 campaign bus atop her X profile. (Sidenote: It's kinda funny that JB Pritzker's post is what inspired me, since his first cousin Daniel is the guy who sold Jennifer Siebel Newsom the $9.1 million Marin mansion in which the Gav/Jen brood currently resides.)
