Two amazing women transporting rescue dogs from Turkiye for Homeward Bound Rescue lost their lives in a tragic accident on the motorway in Romania, along with 9 out of the 10 dogs on board 😢💔🌈 The sole surviving dog is now being cared for by a local Romanian rescuer. Today is entirely about them, the silent heroes who gave everything trying to bring the voiceless away from danger and toward a brighter future. The physical and emotional price of rescue is immense, and their selflessness, courage, and compassion will never be forgotten. Rest in peace to two incredible human souls, and to the sweet Homeward Bound dogs who deserved the lives of safety and freedom they were heading toward. Our deepest condolences to Homeward Bound Rescue, the families and all those who loved them 🕊️💔

Did you know @nhsfife picked up Dr Upton's legal costs. These were significant & paid for by the tax payer. Why has there been no @Channel4News investigation into this?

This footage is going to become a big headache for the police. A police officer appears to pretend he has been hit by a car. Seconds later, the elderly man behind the wheel is dragged out of the vehicle and thrown to the ground. How are the public supposed to trust the police to enforce the law when incidents like this happen? This needs investigating properly, and if the footage is as it appears, there must be accountability for every officer involved.
