🐈 Meet the newcomer! Scientists have discovered a new cat species for the first time in 100 years
This spotted little beauty with a squashed face, short ears and long whiskers is Leopardus tilcayo.
So far, scientists can say with certainty only that the tilcayo lives in the forests of Bolivia on the eastern slopes of the Andes.
But what these cats eat, what hunts them, how they reproduce and what their daily lives are like all remain a mystery.
