That’s funny, I think the “Hitler Youth” in this scenario are the ones being brought up to want to kill Jews. Or, you know, the youth out there in the West who openly endorse Hitler. Let me cue you in on a little something. The central defining feature of National Socialism in Germany was eliminationist antisemitism. Each and every single thing was viewed through the lens of an eternal cosmic war against the Jewish people, who were considered the living portals through which all evil enters the world. Thus, anyone whose ideology encourages doing harm to Jewish people is, by definition, closer to being a Nazi than someone who doesn’t. Someone who is leftist but antisemitic is closer to Hitler and Goebbels than someone who’s rightist but philosemitic. But I think you know this. Because when leftists use the word “Nazi” you’re not referring to actual national socialist ideology. You’re using it to designate enemy combatants as a form of stochastic terrorism. And there’s another reason too. You’re trying to throw Jewish historical trauma back in our faces. Now, maybe I’m being unfair. Maybe you’re trying to appeal to us and get us to see these people’s entirely self-inflicted plight in a new light. If that’s the intention, it’s not working. It’s just making us even angrier. And that is very unwise to do. All these Hamas youth members are dead now, by the way.
