You can’t resolve it at the airport. By then, it’s too late to make someone buy a second seat on a flight that may already be full.

We, the people, need to shift from the idea of “we’re buying plane tickets” to “we’re renting space on a plane.” My purchase includes: my seat all space to the ceiling all space between my seat and under seat in front of me Airlines then have an obligation to protect my rented space, since that is what they sold.
This happened to me on Delta. It's not all that unusual but on one particular day, the woman seated next to me was so obese that she took up approximately half of my space. I'm not exaggerating. This meant I couldn't put down my tray and I had to let her use the whole left side of my seat and the arm rest, and I squished over to use only the right half of my little seat for a pretty long flight. I didn't want to embarrass her and hoped the flight attendants would make some adjustment and they definitely saw, but they pretended not to notice. I took a discreet photo and asked Delta for consideration on another ticket, say half price, since I only got half a seat LOL, but they told me there was nothing they would do.

I’m taking the flight attendant’s seat, no way I’m staying there
We need to have a serious conversation about overweight people flying on commercial airlines. I’m flying on @AmericanAir and after paying extra money to upgrade my seat, I got stuck next to a man who is 300+ pounds and stripped mid flight. None of the flight attendants wanted to confront him. He smells like 💩 and weed. He’s literally sitting in my seat and keeps touching me. For context, he’s literally 300+ pounds and I’m 120. Why does American Airlines think it’s acceptable to treat people this way?! I tried reaching out discreetly during the flight, but they have no avenues to do that.

Every NFL commercial break: "GAMBLE, DRINK, GAMBLE, DRINK, DRINK AND GAMBLE, GAMBLE ON A NEW BEER'S GAMBLING PLATFORM" The NFL:
NFL fined 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk $14,926 for engaging in an offensive demonstration Sunday vs. Miami. “Your imitation of chugging a beer constituted an offensive demonstration and could reasonably be construed as being in poor taste,” the NFL wrote in its fine letter. Juszczyk, nicknamed “Juice”, already has appealed the fine.

AI is getting cheaper more quickly than any other transformative tech in history. At a given level of performance, cost has fallen ~47%/quarter since 2023. That’s 4× faster than DNA sequencing, 6× faster than compute, 18× faster than lithium batteries, and (up to 1973) 54× faster than electricity.

I checked out their website, you’re being a bit harsh, they’re not just a bread store they also sell slippers and harmonicas. They also have reasonably priced things like a $65 butter knife, and a $140 water carafe.

Claude reduced pricing to compete within Codex and Grok. They didn’t announce they also reduced output quality.
I used to be a hard-core fan of Claude since forever, never switch to another API or LLM since Opus 4.8 came out Until this August, whatever they did, I haven't been screaming and annoyed at it's work like this before and moved completely over to OpenAI + Grok I thought I was going crazy, but apparently they pulled the same shit they did back earlier this year with regression

A ban on sports gambling is a societal pillar. When you remove it, the whole building doesn’t come down…right away
DraftKings developed an AI model to identify users most likely to lose money so that it could target them with promotions. When employees then developed a model that would have assigned “risk scores” based on users' likelihood to develop compulsive/addictive behaviors, the company sidelined it. nytimes.com/2026/09/19/busin…

Inter is fantastic. Surprised Open Sans still has popularity. Montserrat and Lato are like Aaron Rogers and Brett Favre: they need to retire but need another few years to prove how bad they’ve become.
Inter font is so popular these days on @googlefonts. Designed by @rsms, did you know at the beginning it was launched under the name "Interface" before being renamed to "Inter UI" and eventually shortened to just "Inter"?
