There’s actually a deeper lesson here, which is that you see very little in America - certainly not face-to-face out there in real life land - of the kind of cheap xenophobia the left imagines. People may curiously ask where you’re from if you have an accent, but they won’t mock you like Tim Miller, who here revealingly apes what he thinks his fellow citizens do. Americans care about your behavior as a citizen, not your accent. And their increasing worries about mass immigration aren’t cheap shots like this one, or “fears” about hearing an accent on the bus, but deeper concerns about losing the things that have made America great and a draw to people the world over in the first place.

BREAKING: An advisory panel on accreditation has recommended that the Department of Education suspend the American Psychological Association (APA) for 12 months amidst concerns about ideological standards on DEI, gender-related treatment, and especially antisemitism. After hearing from several groups during a meeting yesterday, the National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity’s (NACIQI) voted to make the recommendation. The recommendation now goes to the Department of Education for a final decision.

If the IDF was even a tenth as evil as Hamas, everyone in Gaza would have been wiped out decades ago. The response to October 7th would have just taken hours and 99% of Gaza would be dead.

The relative silence about things like this from the activist crowd makes it rather obvious that they simply don’t care about Palestinian victims except when those victims can be used to justify attack on Israel or the west.

BREAKING: Saudi Arabia has surrendered.

This is really important, and it seems nobody noticed, amid the chaos: Just three days after the October 7 attacks, with over 50 French citizens among the dead or missing, France signed a massive deal with the perpetrators’ primary benefactor, Qatar, making France economically dependent on a tiny Islamist dictatorship until 2050. It’s why Macron led the charge to recognise the “State of Palestine”, why he whitewashes Hamas even as they kill his own citizens, and why he broadcasts Qatari talking points at the UN, much to Al Jazeera’s delight. He is, in effect, the President of France, but also a PR consultant to Qatar. The hilarious part: the IRGC, which France also tried to protect, voided all those deals kinetically just as they were meant to come into force, and they won’t restart for five years at best, if ever. So France won’t get its gas, Qatar won’t get its money, and Palestine won’t get its statehood.

For nearly three years, CPJ helped push the incendiary narrative that Israel was systematically slaughtering journalists. Now CPJ just announced that it has removed another 22 people from its database. Twenty were removed after new research established “engagement in combat," meaning terrorism. That’s on top of 8 it had already removed after determining they were Hamas or PIJ combatants. So CPJ has now removed 28 supposed journalists for literal participation in hostilities. And understand how absurdly narrow CPJ’s standard is. Affiliation with Hamas or PIJ doesn’t disqualify you. Even membership in an armed group doesn’t automatically disqualify you. CPJ only draws the line at actual engagement in combat. Yet even by that ridiculous standard, 28 names failed their test. The review began after Hamas and PIJ themselves published obituaries identifying supposed “journalists” as combatants. And those obituaries keep coming. CPJ’s credibility should be in tatters — for good.
