We’re excited to announce Dame Hayaatun Sillem as the new Chair of Mission 44’s Board of Trustees.
Dame Hayaatun has been part of our story since the very beginning. She co-chaired The Hamilton Commission with our founder Sir @LewisHamilton, the findings of which helped lay the foundations for Mission 44, and she has served on our Board since we launched.
Her appointment comes at an exciting moment for Mission 44, as we grow our work in the UK and internationally to build a fairer future for young people.

Some of the commentary around Labour's likely candidate in Holborn and St Pancras is deeply unpleasant. She came here as a child refugee (something she had zero control over). She has since made something of her life, volunteered for charities, got active in local politics, led a council and now wants to represent her community in parliament. Are people arguing that there should *never* be a place in public life for individuals like her? Are these the same people who complain when immigrants don't integrate or respect our way of life? Come on. Oppose her politics by all means (I suspect I'd disagree with her on an awful lot). But don't insist that she has no right to stand in a democratic election.

Whatever you think about Jason Arday and this story, the words and tone from some about his family and his death has been repugnant. Common to say social media has rotted the mind- for some it seems to have rotted the soul, as well.
We’ve crossed the Rubicon on discourse. It’s hard to believe that in a world where social media platforms didn’t exist commentators would publicly mock and denigrate a dead man’s grieving family for attention. And I’m not making a partisan point.

We're proud to announce a new partnership with Santander UK Foundation to launch the £500k STEM Pathways Fund.
The growing number of young people not in education, employment, or training (NEET) shows why we need more accessible pathways that equip young people with the skills, experience, and employer connections they need to succeed.
The new youth-driven fund will support young people aged 16–19 in Further Education across England who are experiencing barriers and disadvantages, helping them progress from Further Education into careers in STEM.
Together, we're investing in organisations that are creating more equitable pathways into STEM so that more young people have the opportunity to thrive in education.

Four days, countless unforgettable moments! 🏁
From thought-provoking conversations at Futures Lab and taking over the FOS Fan Zone stage, to exclusive behind-the-scenes access at @AstonMartinF1, putting the @WilliamsF1 simulators through their paces, meeting inspiring motorsport role models, and even taking on the iconic Goodwood Hill Climb - this year's @fosgoodwood was one to remember.
Most importantly, we were proud to give young people from our partner organisations opportunities to experience the world of motorsport up close and see what's possible for their futures 🌟
A huge thank you to everyone who visited our stand, joined our sessions, volunteered, and helped make the weekend such a success - and to @fosgoodwood for having us 🙌
