He is shifting focus from the disaster in the Strait of Hormuz and making Zelensky a sacrificial lamb to his base. A despicable human being who never took responsibility for anything in his life.
Trump: My decision on Russia is a very simple one. I don't want to do anything that will drive, foolishly, Russia away from the bargaining table. Russia is doing very little, if anything, to help the Islamic Republic of Iran, compared to what they could be doing. Zelenskyy is using Diesel Refineries in Russia as a target, knowing that these attacks are seriously hurting the world diesel markets, including those in the United States. Farmers, ranchers, and businesses of all kinds are suffering greatly from this, but Russia is, nevertheless, sending, at a low price, millions of barrels of diesel to the World. Zelenskyy doesn't care, and frankly, with all of the money that Europe is famously giving him, and that Crooked Joe Biden gave him in the past, he doesn't want to end this war, and probably never did. He could have made a better deal two years ago than he can now. His country is in shambles, a large portion of his land is lost, his oceans and seas are gone, and his male population is low, wounded, and/or dead. I WANT THIS WAR END!

Putin's desire to revive the Russian empire knows no morality. It lives in lies. It’s only achievable through mass murder and genocide. It exists through people like Donald Trump giving it life.

Simply put. We'll likely see Trump and Putin agree to a fake "armistace deal" in the next week or so, aimed at saving midterm elections. Putin is now milking Trump for maximum concessions before agreeing, with Trump piling on the gifts. Turning off Starlink was to ensure that if Ukraine doesn't agree, Putin just ramps up the massacres on newly undefended cities - as it's required for Ukraine's interceptors - until Zelensky agrees. Russia will break the agreement the day after the election, claiming Ukraine broke the agreement, but Putin will already have massive concessions, walking away with huge new revenue streams for his war machine.

“we will pay any price….to assure the success and survival of liberty.” Is this still true? Do we prize liberty or do we prize power and purse? No more clear test than the choice between Ukraine and Russia. Abandon Ukraine and we abandon liberty. Eventually even our own.

Beyond irresponsible. What part of enforcing a law passed 86-11 by the Senate does the President and his advisors not understand? It’s unconscionable that this administration is capitulating to a Russian dictator who illegally invaded Ukraine and butchers innocent civilians every single day. If the President wants to actually bring down energy prices, he can do it by solving the Iran problem, not by doing a solid for Vladimir Putin. apnews.com/article/russia-sa…

Trump's russian diesel deal is like President Roosevelt calling Churchill in 1940 and telling him that the US is buying fuel from Hitler and that if the British continue to bomb Nazi Germany's refineries that the US will the end Lend-Lease.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t even matter if Zelenskyy is President of Ukraine or not. @ZelenskyyUa Putin’s goal is to take Ukraine. Then he will take Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, and he will make his way through all of Europe. People obsess over personalities too much. You could have an election in Ukraine tomorrow and Putin would still find a reason to be at war. Russia INVADED Ukraine. Not the other way around. Zelenskyy’s removal from office won’t stop Russian imperialism. It’s not about Zelenskyy. It’s about Putin. It’s always been about Putin.

The war in Ukraine is the greatest fight for sovereignty and freedom in the 21st century so far. The tragedy of Trump changing sides and backing autocratic Russia instead of democratic Ukraine will go down in history as one of America's biggest foreign policy mistakes ever.

Pretty clear that Trump/Hegseth are doing everything they can to force Ukraine to surrender to Putin by withholding all US assistance while actively helping fund the Russian war machine to kill as many civilians as possible including kids. What a dark, evil chapter in US history.

Just so you understand the scale of betrayal: first, our "partners" didn't warn Ukraine about the incoming ballistic missiles, so the air raid alert wasn't activated before impact, robbing people of their chance to survive. Then, Starlink was restricted to stop working at speeds above 100 mph. This renders useless, first and foremost, our interceptor drones. It doesn't limit our ability to attack inside Russia, it limits our ability to stop another apartment building or school full of civilians from being hit. Wow, just wow.

I’m not going to lie. I fell for Russian propaganda, and I’m not proud of it. Then I stopped and looked at the facts. Russia invaded Ukraine. Ukraine didn’t invade Russia. I realized I had let propaganda cloud my fucking judgment. I was wrong, and I’m man enough to admit it. I stand with the Ukrainian people. They deserve their freedom, their sovereignty, and the right to live in peace. Sometimes being a man means admitting you were wrong instead of defending a lie just to protect your pride.

Time for Putin to step down. Putin started the war. Putin has refused all peace deals with absurd demands or outright rejection. Putin has caused the death of 1 million or more. Putin has nuclear missiles aimed at our country. Putin is providing support to the Iranian regime.

The russia-backed Trump regime of the United States threatens Ukrainian defenders it will cut off intelligence-sharing and indirect arms sales. Russia is invading Ukraine with an army fuelled from oil refineries. Ukraine defends itself to survive. Trump works for Putin.

I think Ukrainians are of the “give me freedom or give me death” mindset. Something we used to immensely respect as Americans. Now ‘MAGA’ is saying Ukraine should just submit to an enemy that’s leveling its cities, kidnapping children and raping their women. We used to be strong, now we simp for dictators like a bunch of beta pussies.

If the anti-Ukraine crowd had their way, we’d have an emboldened Russian army on the border of five NATO countries, led by a mad man who believes we don’t actually take NATO defense seriously. That’s the scenario that leads to WW3, in fact. Enabling Ukraine to defend itself is literally the opposite of “WW3.” But then again, I’ve never accused the keyboard warriors on X of being too thoughtful 😂😂

Met, and interviewed, a lot of world leaders in my time. Few have impressed me more than President Zelensky. He’s a man of great courage, resilience, and determination, and deserves the support of everyone who cares about defying dictators. @ZelenskyyUa

President Trump’s decision to lift sanctions on Russian fuel amidst Putin’s ongoing and brutal attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine makes no sense and is a betrayal of the legacy and leadership of the late Senator Lindsey Graham. While Ukraine fights for its survival, Putin’s war machine continues to prosecute his terrorist war on civilian populations and innocent Ukrainians are dying every day. Now, Instead of implementing the tough sanctions Lindsey Graham fought to his last breath to enact, President Trump has announced the United States is lifting sanctions on Russian energy, fueling the Putin’s war machine. As I saw firsthand in Ukraine last month, Putin is losing this war. Ukraine has fought the Russian military to a standstill and reinvented warfare with drones taking the fight into the heart of Russia. America should not be throwing a lifeline to Putin’s war machine. Now is the time to stand strong against Russian aggression as we did during the first Trump administration. Putin doesn’t want peace. Putin wants Ukraine. I have no doubt that if Putin overruns Ukraine, it will only be a matter of time until Russia’s military crosses a border that our troops will have to deal with him. America is the Leader of the Free World. For our National Security, for the security of our Allies in Europe including Ukraine, President Trump should rescind this deal immediately and return to the strong policies of our four years in the White House; impose harsh sanctions on any nation purchasing Russian energy and work with our allies to ensure Ukraine has the military support it needs to repel and defeat this Russian invasion once and for all. Ronald Reagan facilitated the fall of the Berlin Wall, the demise of the Soviet Union, and freedom for millions. Donald Trump has a man crush on Vladimir Putin, envies his strongman powers, and would be glad to coerce a false 'peace' on Ukraine with terms favorable to Putin.
