Jamaica Bay reached moderate coastal flood levels this morning, crews are working through more than 1,008 downed tree reports across the five boroughs, and power outages have dropped from about 2,300 customers this morning to about 230. NYC Emergency Management has coordinated the response with City and State partners since before the storm arrived, and that work continues through recovery. The Downed Tree Task Force remains active into Monday, NYC Parks crews are working 12-hour shifts for a fourth straight day, FDNY remains at an enhanced posture in the Rockaways and Howard Beach, and the Flash Flood Emergency Plan stays active while downpours are possible tonight.
