Today, I introduced the bipartisan STRONGER Act, which would help reduce recidivism and break the cycle of addiction by providing treatment and recovery resources through the RSAT program to incarcerated individuals with substance use disorders.    Ensuring incarcerated individuals have access to treatment is not only proven to keep them from reoffending, but it is also morally right.   This legislation will help more Texans get their lives back on track and become productive, healthy members of society after they’re released from prison, and I look forward to seeing it pass the Senate.

What globalist traitor self serving Cornyn says -VS- what I heard. I just introduced the bipartisan Another Door for Fraud Act, which will help us continue to steal your hard earned tax dollars disguised as a tool to help people. With this bill we will be able to send billions to our masters while they funnel millions back to my bank account.

What the hell is going on in the Senate??
The Senate is doing this instead of passing Voter I.D.

Let me guess, this would be another avenue for NGOs to funnel money back to the establishment. No thank you.

This could be done in the first few days of incarceration, if you keep drugs out of the facilities. I used to be a detox counselor, so I know. You're just playing a show for another audience. Go home...

Curious why does it take republicans to lose primaries to start acting normal again in the Trump era? Prior to primary you were spending time writing bills to rename highways after the supreme leader.

Stanford Univ did an historic study and found that by far the most effective drug treatment programs are Christian. Throwing drugs at drugs or new age sh-- at addiction just doesn't work. #Cornyn

Exact reason you were voted out. All that is happening and you are focused on the prison population. So happy we primaried you.

It’s a shame that even when you do something good it’s immediately discounted because of your bitterness and party sabotage because you lost your primary by 27%. Here’s a lesson:

You want all those criminals on the streets, not them taking medication. You're a typical Democrat. Thank God Texas voted your ass out. RINO!

Just another waste of taxpayers money. They are in jail. That should sober them up. If not, they are lost forever. There will always be a small percentage of human beings that will never function in society. Sad, but true. The real questing is can we elect politicians who understand these folks need to be separated from a civil society.

So you’re more concerned with medical care for incarcerated criminals than their victims, families, and actual Texans- you know citizens; the ones who pay for all this shit? The New Year can’t come fast enough to get rid of your crusty ass. Thankful daily that you lost. Lawyer up

😐 ok? Why can’t the states handle this? The federal government needs to focus only on what it is called to do in the constitution.

Prisons inject inmates with so much "guesswork" anti-psychotic cocktails with no oversight, bodily autonomy or ANY legal right to refuse that they become even more psychotic, which gives them the excuse to deny them parole. You're just doing your big pharma cartel a favor.
