Today, I introduced the bipartisan STRONGER Act, which would help reduce recidivism and break the cycle of addiction by providing treatment and recovery resources through the RSAT program to incarcerated individuals with substance use disorders.    Ensuring incarcerated individuals have access to treatment is not only proven to keep them from reoffending, but it is also morally right.   This legislation will help more Texans get their lives back on track and become productive, healthy members of society after they’re released from prison, and I look forward to seeing it pass the Senate.
