Environmentally aware, love animals, wild & domesticated. Our world:-millions of living species all with equal rights to life on earth as homo saps. Greens👎🏼

Ireland
youtu.be/a53p5-Ka-lI?si=owOI…. A favourite video to remind us of Ireland as many of us almost remember. In 2025 we MUST remember that we (homo sapiens) are only ONE of millions of species on earth. Each & every species has the exact same right to life on earth as humans. NEVER forget!

I’ve buried my parents, a brother, and other loved ones and I know no greater pain than losing a dog. Nothing else cuts that deep. Perhaps losing a child, but that’s really what dogs are— a 3-5 year old child for their entire life. I’m sorry for your loss. The pain subsides but it’s a long process. No human will ever love you unconditionally like a dog. They don’t care if you’re rich or poor, beautiful or ugly. They’ll love you the same way. The price of a good dog is a heartbreak in the end. It’s a steep price but damn, it’s worth it every time. Please consider getting another one soon.

The Living Alone Allowance needs to be doubled to €50 & then an automatic increase of 10% in every budget to have ANY hope of keeping up with rapidly rising utility bills. One person living alone is NOT comparable with two or more in a house who share utility bills/charges.

Apart from obvious unfairness of having Irish people work to fund immigrants’ homes, it simply isn’t a sustainable model. What do they think happens when a Somali family is given a free house, weekly payments and free healthcare? They tell everyone in their village.
"Citizenship is not a criteria, nor should it be": Tánaiste Simon Harris defends the fact that non-Irish citizens are eligible to receive social housing from the State.

A person living alone has all the same basic bills & standing charges as two or more people in a house & they expect €3 to help them meet those massive increases that increase in double figure percentages several times a year! Absurd. LAA need to be doubled at least & +10%/year.

There are over 100,000 defects in the National Children's Hospital.... so far. The Dept cannot tell us if it will be open in 2027, 2028 or 2029. No one has lost their job, not least Simon 'It wasn't me' Harris, who signed the contract.

Ireland is renowned now as a nation of simpletons who gift free everything to every waster 3rd worlder looking for a free life of idleness at the expense of their struggling native working people. Our politicians, esp SlimyHarris ARE as thick & stupid as they look!

There is absolutely NO reason why long term jobseekers, dole nor non-contributory pension should be IN ANY WAY linked with CONTRIBUTORY State pensions which many people have paid their entire life into. Contributory pension gets eroded every single year by government. Not on!

Meanwhile ESB increases several times a year in double figure percentages & all other taxes too. Disgraceful. Nothing for last five years was a kick in the teeth!
Living alone allowance up €3 a week. So you’ll be able to buy the Irish Daily Mail one day a week.

Living alone allowance - The largest group in this category, elderly Irish who have worked all their lives. In Budget 2027, the Living Alone Allowance is rising by €3 per week per week. This is the first increase to the payment in five years. Evil, Bastard "Government".

Lots of us here! €3 help for paying all bills alone and NO INCREASE at all in last FIVE years. Such an insult! Shame on @SimonHarrisTD @daracalleary @MichealMartinTD
The government can find billions in free accommodation, free meals, free laundry and social housing for people with no connection to this country. New arrivals who never contributed anything. Well here's the other side of the coin. A man who has worked his entire life going to bed at 8pm because he can't afford to heat his home. There's nothing wrong with helping others. But my God lads you start with your own.

Nothing last year. Nothing for the last FIVE years & they now think that €3 is acceptable? Give State pensioners €15,000 a year to live on BUT it costs them €35,000 to keep a criminal, illegal 3rd world rapist/murderer accommodated, kept & fed. Sheer mad & bad government!
Is our Corrupt government having a laugh €3.00 for people Living Alone

Some more on the new social housing legislation the minister is referring to TLDR: they made things worse,
Immigration to Welfare: Did you know the Govt passed a new Social Housing law this summer ? “The Housing and Residential Tenancies Act 2026” This Act sets the rules for asylum seekers’ access to social housing To qualify for social housing you must be “lawfully resident” and “habitually resident” in Ireland. “lawfully resident” includes: • Refugee status • Subsidiary protection • Permission to remain • Programme refugee status • Certain qualifying family permissions So once someone moves from being an asylum applicant, they have an immediate legal gateway to the social housing list. Social housing is NOT for citizens only. And To be clear: Until this summer, the rules governing migrants’ access to social housing were largely contained in a Departmental circular from 2012. The Govt has now written them directly into law. This was a chance to tighten up access to social benefits. Remember the Govt admit most are “economic migrants” But Instead they have doubled down. This directly affects the housing crisis. It puts new arrivals in direct competition with with disability campaigners & others for housing resources. Why are they doing this?

The artificial population increase that’s occurring in Ireland is occurring without any remotely adequate infrastructural investment that would allow the population to cope, one result of this is that people are forced to spend ever lengthening hours stuck in traffic on their way to and from work every day. That’s time away from their family and friends for which they will never be reimbursed. The whole thing is something which slowly chokes the life out of the country and all the people in it.

And these are only the non nationals The foreign born on social welfare is most definitely even higher Imagine how much pressure it would take off of our housing and rental system if we even just deported all these people and stopped paying them to be here

The non contributory pension that is! The contributory State pension needs to be respected & doubled. People worked their entire lives for that in Ireland. Non contributory & dole are paid to anybody. There is NO comparison. The Govt is disrespecting EVERY Irish worker!
Replying to @FineGael
Not one who works hard will get anything in this budget compared to those on welfare. You need to reduce all non contributory welfare payments like the pension and JA. Tell these people to work and reduce migration.
