The City of Winter Park originally planned to relocate Flock cameras but today Chief Volkerson requested the city suspend the Flock program for at least 90 days or until state legislation addresses privacy and data sharing concerns raised by the public.
It passed 5-0!

@GovRonDeSantis ordered Flock cameras removed from state roads. Some municipalities removed them. Others simply moved them.
The Florida Sheriffs Association urged voters to vote NO on Amendment 3, warning deputies, firefighters and 911 could face cuts.
FLOCK CAMERAS WERE NOT MENTIONED IN THE FUNDING CUTS.
@ccsofl spent $1.3 MILLION on Flock cameras in 2023, plus a recurring $271,000 subscription.

NEW YORK - "Since August 13, 2026, the Town of Williamson Water Department has been unable to add fluoride to our water supply.
As a result of the situation in the middle east, supply chain challenges have caused a nationwide shortage of fluoride (Fluorosilicic Acid).
There is currently no timeline for when the process of adding fluoride can be resumed."
