I’d retire too if I had to play for the Bears
Long-time NFL pass-rusher Marcus Davenport has decided to retire, per me and @MikeGarafolo. Davenport asked for his release from the #Bears after playing his final game Sunday. The 30-year-old former #Saints first-rounder finished with 25 career sacks for four teams.

You’re only mad about this because you lost money gambling on the game.
If the Brewers are going to choose to have a dumb stadium, they should be at a disadvantage every time a ball hits the roof

The commentator who keeps saying this should be a home run is an idiot and should never call another MLB game

Holy shit they did it. We are so back
More offensive line help; Veteran guard Kevin Zeitler, who has played 14 NFL seasons, is signing a one-year deal with the Green Bay Packers, per sources. This week, the Packers now have added veteran offensive linemen Zeitler, Laken Tomlinson and Mekhi Becton.

MLF doesn’t have the stones to do this
Earlier in the season, Brewer manager Pat Murphy pulled rookie Cooper Pratt for not fully running out a hit. Tonight, Murph pulled veteran William Contreras for not running out a ball to first. The Brewers win because the Standard is the Standard for rookies and vets. @Brewers

Don’t bother watching Matt LaFleurs presser tonight. I’ll save you the time: -I thought our guys battled -Yeah, no, give Atlanta credit, they're a really good team -Obviously this is disappointing -We have to be better and that starts with me - I have to look at the tape -Obviously we didn't do enough -Yeah, no, obviously the final result wasn't what we wanted -It's really hard to win in this league

“Let’s worry about this next week” Lame mindset. Lame coach. Lame season.
Matt LaFleur's message to the Packers' locker room: "You got three days to decompress, and we gotta get back to work," LaFleur said of what he told the team. "Just knowing the guys in that locker room, we know it's going to get loud. You have to ignore the noise and just focus on what we can do better. "We all collectively—individually—have something we can get better at. It's just roll up your sleeves and get to work."

What a disgusting act… what would the sponsors think of something as inappropriate as this?
NFL fined 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk $14,926 for engaging in an offensive demonstration Sunday vs. Miami. “Your imitation of chugging a beer constituted an offensive demonstration and could reasonably be construed as being in poor taste,” the NFL wrote in its fine letter. Juszczyk, nicknamed “Juice”, already has appealed the fine.
