"People aren't ready, this is gonna change everything" You know what people weren't ready for? Fucking mammoths. Tigers eating them. Monkeys ripping their arms off. The black plague. The ice age. Smallpox. Vikings pulling up on the beach. Drinking water that gives you diarrhea until you die. Getting a scratch and losing your whole leg. The Mongols. The Spanish Inquisition. One volcano can send us back to the dark ages and these safety guys are gonna be shocked. Oh the robots didn't kill us? It was a volcano? Imagine their disappointment as the hot ash rains down on them. A solar flare is gonna explode your phone in your pocket your legs are gonna be covered in battery acid and your bank account will stop working. You're afraid of a computer program doing math? "Things are moving too fast" homie you live on a rock that periodically deletes everything. You are one the most luckiest entities in a 100 light year radius living during a golden era. Cheer up. My ancestors crossed an ocean in a wooden box because they ran out of fucking potatoes. "The social disruption will be enormous!" Nigga World War 2? World War 2? Hop in the people carrier we're landing on the beach. Are these people out of their fucking minds? Do they not know what we've survived already? A couple decades of air conditioning and people suddenly think oh this is the natural condition of mankind. No. We used to have eight kids because seven didn't make it. You're gonna be fine. Man the fuck up. Accelerate.

This bill isn't just a compromise…it's the product of real, substantive trades policymakers made to get here. I said this many months ago: perfect can't be the enemy of good… and let's be clear: those trades weren't small. This isn't a deal Senators should be ‘settling for’ — it's a deal that they should stand behind. Senate: the world is watching and voters are watching. Now is the time to vote yes.
I’ve said many times that the CLARITY Act is essential to ensuring America wins the global race for new technology. That’s the reason Congress passed the GENIUS Act: to ensure that stablecoin infrastructure, a revolutionary financial technology, will be built in America. Ensuring that America’s community bank sector continues to thrive has been a constant focus of mine since day one. And the administration’s dual focus on enabling new digital technology to flourish and appropriately tailoring community bank regulation is key to both sectors driving U.S. economic growth together over the next several decades. The final draft of the CLARITY Act furthers this mission. It gives the Secretary of the Treasury additional authority to act if the facts around deposit flight change to the detriment of community banks. If stablecoins cause harm to community banks, I will not hesitate to use these tools to ensure they remain fully protected. Community banks are essential to U.S. economic performance and Main Street growth. Economic security is national security, and community banks play a major role in this principle.

When the rent is too damn high it’s easy to hate the landlord making money off you. But when you’re a renter…you never have to make a repair, you never have to sock away $100K in cash for a down payment, and if your place burns down, you can just walk away. Before you bitch about landlords, ask yourself: could you save up $100K right now to make a down payment? What about $10K repair when a pipe bursts? Or your government leaves 50 years of brush to BURN YOUR CITY DOWN? These are all things a property owner has to deal with. Risk, liability, maintenance, taxes, loss of liquidity, ever-increasing insurance costs, and no ability to evict someone who stops paying rent. Landlords earn maybe 5-12% margins off your rent. Consider it a tip for doing all the hard stuff of home ownership for you. x.com/RedWavePress/status/20…

Isn’t it weird how unsubsidized consumer goods like TVs, appliances, clothes, all get cheaper and cheaper…while anything government puts its hands on, healthcare, housing, food, tuition, cars, utilities…just gets more and more unaffordable? Oh well. Probably nothing.

Posts like this hurt the argument for XRP through ignorance. Not understanding, or understanding and intentionally ignoring the fact that two different coins have vastly different supplies is crazy. It’s also extremely basic crypto knowledge.
Why is it considered crazy to think that $XRP will hit $1,000 based on its utility when Bitcoin hit $126,000 based on “store of value” speculation?

The divide on X today: Everyone who owns a home: “There’s nothing wrong with making your own lunch, I brown bag all the time and rarely eat out.” Renters, criers, basement dwellers, people upset they can’t possibly “ever” buy a home: “I HAVE to spend $28 every day at Chipotle, why do you want me to STARVE?”

How it is supposed to be
James Madison described the powers of the federal government as “few and defined” and those reserved to the states as “numerous and indefinite.” We’ve been dangerously drifting from that understanding since the 1930s. The drift has been most evident in areas now most fraught with waste, fraud, and abuse. If we honored the Constitution’s limits on federal power, there’d be very little waste, fraud, and abuse in our national government. Share if you’d like to see a “constitutional reset,” in which any government function that’s not obviously and necessarily federal under the Constitution would be returned “to the states respectively, or to the people,” as the Tenth Amendment specifies.

What pisses me off about people is they give you an amortization table. It’s always existed. It’s probably about 8th grade math. And you blame the banks instead of yourself. You are stupid and then blame the system.
Realizing a 30 year mortgage doesn’t actually mean 30 years: - 1 extra monthly payment per year can cut 5 years off - 2 extra payments per year can cut about 8 years off - 3 extra payments per year can cut about 11 years off Bank won't tell you this

We have bipartisan support. We have the president’s support. This is our moment. Let’s get this done.
Momentum is building for CLARITY. Club for Growth sent letters to Senate Banking members urging immediate markup of the CLARITY Act. Over 100 crypto firms also urged the Senate to move forward on market structure legislation. It’s time to move from uncertainty to clarity. The Senate should act now! 👉clubforgrowth.org/wp-content…

Plus if you’re first class you get to be the last on and first off, minimizing time in a cramped tube with strangers.
It will never make sense to me why they don’t board airplanes from back to front. It would make the process to much faster.
