🚨 New figures reveal a dramatic change in Dublin’s social housing waiting list. Of 15,005 households waiting: 8,706 are Irish = 58% 6,299 are non-Irish = 42% Somali households alone account for 1,320 applicants = 8.8% of the entire list. The non-Irish share of accepted housing offers rose from 21.8% in 2023 to 32.9% in 2025. Approved Housing Bodies now provide almost 63% of all accepted offers. Yet Dublin City Council admits it does not monitor allocation outcomes or waiting times by nationality. It cannot tell us who waits longest, who refuses offers, why AHB nominations fail, or properly explain these enormous demographic changes. A housing system distributing thousands of homes should not operate without transparent data.

This has gone too far. The Government’s agenda is becoming impossible to ignore: a dysfunctional asylum system, inadequate border enforcement, slow or ineffective deportations, pressure on housing and public services, inadequate integration, and a failure to properly address legitimate concerns about public safety. Irish people are being told to accept the consequences while their concerns are dismissed or labelled as extremism. So the questions need to be asked directly: Is this incompetence, ideological policy, or a deliberate political choice? Why are people without a legal right to remain still here? Why is the State struggling to control the asylum system? Why are communities being expected to absorb the pressure while the Government refuses to acknowledge the consequences? The Irish public deserves straight answers and accountability. We urgently need secure borders, remigration, - a Government that puts the safety and interests of Ireland first. #SDGs #Globalism
