Russian intelligence doesn’t want you to trust democracy—or even bother to vote.
A clip from my appearance this summer at the
@IntlSpyMuseum and what am calling Sean's Kremlin Files on Russian Intel Tactics (till I think of, or you can suggest, a catchier title!)—
Lesson 3: Election Meddling and Active Measures
Since my book launched, I’ve been fortunate to do 70+ media interviews and features around the world. I’m pulling out some of my favorite short clips to highlight how Russian intelligence actually operates—from honeytraps and kompromat to active measures and election interference.
(Am posting these on other platforms too for reaching younger gen as well, who are the MAIN target of our main enemies, the Russian and Chinese services)…
👉This short clip looks at how Russian services seek to undermine confidence in democratic institutions—not simply by backing one candidate, but by amplifying division, cynicism, and distrust.
The myth of Venezuelan meddling with our voting machines may not have been created by Russian intelligence (or it was, we prob will never know), but in any case the RIS amplified it, and still do, to breed distrust in our democratic systems…
🎧 Tradecraft, Tactics, and Dirty Tricks is now also on Audible, where it launched at #1 among Espionage/Intelligence new releases.
Chapter 9 goes deep on Russian Active Measures and influence operations.
Appreciate support!
