Two weeks ago, Prime Minister @MarkJCarney said Canada was in an economic war with the U.S. Now he wants a potash “bloc” with them. Which is it? Serious policy, or theatre for the polls?

One day, Carney says Canada is at war with the U.S. The next, he calls to form a bloc with them. He’s all over the map. Is this all just because he tries to capitalize from the political theatre?

A year and a half ago, the media told you that Mark Carney had introduced a sweeping new law to get projects built. All it built was a new government department that has still not approved a single new project. Big talk. No results. Now, the media is telling you that he is introducing a “sweeping new bill” to get things built. How many times will they hype up these grand announcements resulting in nothing?

Like everything else he does, Carney’s so-called “deepening ties with the EU” is all talk and no results. We already have a free trade deal with the EU, but he has failed to get the needed 27 European countries to ratify it. He held another overhyped meeting with Macron the other day, but couldn’t even get the French to ratify that trade deal we already have. It is all show and no go. Meanwhile here at home, people cannot afford groceries, gas, and mortgages.

I’m sure I remember several commentators dismissing this past weekend’s WSJ report as inaccurate, then proceeded to scold anyone for reacting to it. Given the denials issued by the PMO clean-up crew and PM Carney himself, Ms. von der Leyen surely intended to describe a "unique alliance" with Canada and not suggest “associate membership” in the EU. Question from Canadians who didn’t get the story from their own media in the first place: Why the outright lie by the Prime Minister?

B'nai Brith Canada strongly condemns the destruction of mezuzot that occurred during Rosh Hashanah at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo. This disturbing incident reflects the growing normalization of hate on university campuses across Canada. Jewish students, faculty, and community members deserve to feel safe expressing their identity without fear of intimidation or targeting. We are in contact with the Waterloo Regional Police and the University, and appreciate their attention to this matter. Hate-motivated incidents must be taken seriously, investigated thoroughly, and met with meaningful consequences. This incident also underscores the importance of stronger protections for religious communities and religious property. We support the private members' bills advanced by @KellyBlockmp and @GarnettGenuis aimed at strengthening legal protections for religious property and helping deter acts of hate and vandalism. Universities have a responsibility to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all of their students, this requires confronting antisemitism and all forms of hatred. We stand with the Jewish community at Wilfrid Laurier University and call on the University’s administration to condemn these heinous incidents and to take decisive action.

Canada’s biggest asset in this dispute is the goodwill of American people, built over generations of common endeavours. We must turn that goodwill into freer trade. On the 25th anniversary of 9/11, I’ll honour the victims and highlight how Canadians and Americans stood together after the terrorist attacks. Canadian soldiers sacrificed and died fighting in Afghanistan to help our American neighbours. All of us need to stand up for our workers, families, and businesses. Canada first.

Before the election, the Prime Minister said that China was the biggest threat to Canada in the world. After the election, he said he wants a partnership for a “New World Order” with the dictatorship there. Now he is holding defence coordination talks with Beijing, which Canadians had to learn about from Chinese media. No “new world order”. No military cooperation with a regime that kidnapped our people, interfered in our elections, and set up police stations on our soil. Put Canada First.

Mark Carney rightly believed there was too much bureaucracy in defence procurement, so he added a new bureaucracy to tackle the problem, and now the head of that new bureaucracy has quit because he says he is fed up dealing with all the bureaucracy.

The head of Mark Carney’s Investment Agency suddenly resigns days before hosting a supposedly massive Investment Summit. Carney installs the very powerbroker whose company broke rules to take $200 million in taxpayers money and “supercharged” the opioid crisis that killed 50,000 Canadians. The guy was the architect of the Century Initiative, which pushed for mass immigration that drove wages down, rent up, and corporate profits through the roof. When will the media ask some serious questions about what the hell is going on here?
