This. People keep asking me for my setup. It's really just any harness, multiple agents concurrently, barely any skills, and using adversarial reviews. There's no magic sauce (or source!). The models are great out of the box.
a weird inversion with LLMs is the models improve faster than the tinkerers when i see people with custom workflows and setups they're all addressing problems that don't exist anymore the person naively using vanilla codex is more likely to be experiencing state of the art

I abandoned this app so Apple doesn’t put me on the naughty list. Risking my account for a single app wasn’t worth it. You have to know when to bend the knee so the monopoly machine doesn’t steamroll you.
All of my iOS apps were removed and the account is in pending termination. It's been almost 3 weeks, I have contacted support about 5 times now, they say they don't have any visibility and can't help. I have not evaded the review process. If you have a contact at apple, I'd be very grateful. If your account was suspended, please DM me any insights you have into what will happen. I'll appreciate any retweets too! @RevenueCat

Funny thing is there are other apps that do the same exact thing. I brought it up and they told me to report those apps 😂😂😂

I have done a lot in the last 4 years, but I’m itching for change. For more risk.

Usage is lasting longer than usual and I doubt I can spend these credits. Whatever @OpenAI did is working.

This is how I use AI: one topic at a time, manually review generated code, and QA test apps as we build them. Totally freeing. Pure bliss.

We (gpt-6 and me) are running into an aesthetic wall when it comes to mobile ui/ux. Is @mobbin really worth it?

Codex's VS Code extension is so broken it's unusable. Messages are stuck in infinite loading, and hitting up and send again doesn't work either. I'm so tired of this shit, man. They told me engineering was solved but can't ship working software. I'm paying $200/month, mind you. @thsottiaux please fix this.

Have kids but don’t let them burn their faces off. We just got home from her 2-year check-up. Alhamdulillah. Excellent recovery.

Just have kids and you won’t be lonely and won’t have to plan elaborate “friend” get togethers and very quickly you’ll realize doing a puzzle with your 3 year old or helping your 5 year old learn how to read or dancing to Disney songs with them is infinitely more fulfilling and fun then and better for loneliness then constantly having large get togethers with your friends like you’re still in college.
I've been actively fighting almost guaranteed age-related loneliness for years, studies show after age 30 you start seeing friends less and when you get older especially men don't have any social life left! It's preventable, but it takes effort and initiative We've now organized 70 weekly coworking days where we meet with friends and work together, do show and tell, and try help each other make things (also hardware stuff more recently) We've also started organizing movie nights, art nights, barbecues, we watched the World Cup final on a projector screen in the garden with friends We did a collage night the other day where we bought cheap gossip magazines, colored paper, and Pritt glue, and gave everyone scissors to make their own art, I think nobody spent time on their phone for at least 4 hours, making things puts you in a flow state and it's fun to do it in a group because you talk about different stuff while making things than you would for ex having a dinner Movie nights are nice too but less popular I think cause everyone prefers to watch movies alone and also you can't really talk during a movie Coworkings range from having sometimes 20 people to sometimes just 2 people, people have their own lives, but me and @rameerez still try to organize them weekly One thing I realized is that we are usually the ones organizing stuff, but that's not a bad thing, there's even studies about this, there's usually a few people in a group who organize most of the events If nobody in your group organizes stuff, it doesn't mean nobody wants to do stuff, but you have to take the initiative to bring people together which isn't easy in a time where phones and apps and the internet are simply easier and cheaper dopamine than driving to a friends house for a party You can start with a coworking day, everyone brings their laptop, and you provide WiFi and coffee, then later you can try more types of events Having an active social life is just as important or in some studies even more important for health than physical fitness After a nice party I feel tired but satisfied, I had fun and didn't spend time on my phone or computer but instead talked and laughed with friends etc. We don't drink alcohol with very few exceptions and nor do our friends, so it's mostly just having really nice food and sparkling water or kombucha etc, and we don't really need alcohol, after a few hours it gets fun enough anyway! So I recommend everyone, take initiative, and organize something and get people together, it'll be fun! 😊

I worked at a startup that did this. Horrible experience.

If you're sacrificing understanding for acceleration, you're doing it wrong. The most effective way to use AI is an accelerant for your understanding.
It’s funny seeing DHH speed run the psychosis cycle. Been there, done that. He’ll eventually realize no amount of AI pseudoscience (prompt tweaks, skills, adversarial reviews, etc.) is gonna make any difference. Sacrificing understanding for acceleration isn’t worth it.

Build in public is dead cause it’s overtaken by immoral grifters who build chat with Jesus, dead relatives, and AI bf/gf apps. Block them. Share redacted MRR screenshots if you must.
Build in public was always about marketing. Sometimes you’d be sharing lessons because you genuinely want other indiehackers to succeed, but that’s from an era where there was a non verbal agreement to not overlap projects with someone else, and you have X months of a technical head start anyway. But the sharing ultimately led to benefits. More people checking out your site. More WOM. Maybe even some direct signups from X or wherever you’re sharing. That era is dead now. There’s no tech head start anymore and the non verbal agreement has evaporated. It’s every man woman and chihuahua for themselves. There’s also so much software that nobody cares anymore. I could launch something today that would be revolutionary 2 years ago, that today nobody would bat an eye at. It’s all within reach of anyone with a max subscription. RIP building in public. Let’s hope we find something to replace it. But I think the game now is: can you find a space not saturated with devs where you can provide value with tech, can you shut up about it, and can you sell the solution to non technical buyers. Long enough to make generational wealth before AGI turns us all back into fishermen and rice farmers. Godspeed my fellow meat proxies.
