The octobass of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. It typically plays one octave below the double bass. This rare bowed strong instrument was first built around 1850 in Paris. There are a handful in museums but the MSO is the only orchestra in the world to own one. 1/2

The 5 Types of Wealth
Money is NOT the only type of wealth.
There are 5 types:
• Financial (money)
• Social (relationships)
• Physical (health)
• Mental (knowledge, health)
• Time (freedom)
The pursuit of financial wealth can rob you of the others.
Don't let that happen.

Listen up, friends. I’ve lived a long time in this country. I’ve experienced a lot. And I know, and have a deep sense, when things are beginning to spiral.
We are at that point. We’ve been approaching it for some time, but the warning signs were in smaller, discrete pieces. /1

You can just decide to make friends with someone. So many people struggle with having friends, but many times I've simply decided that I think that person is cool and I'm gonna make them my friend and you can.

Tbh, I think Meta should exist. I think FaceBook and Instagram are great platforms to share content & connect with people. However, I believe Meta needs to change their business practices substantially. What they do with user information is unacceptable. Standards should be set

THREAD:
If you think Putin’s invasion of Ukraine seems so cruel, unnecessary and pointless, let me tell you how Syria started.
A few kids in Dara’a sprayed anti-Assad graffiti on a high school wall. 15 kids were arrested, beaten, tortured, had their fingernails ripped out.
