Good Morning, Please join me for a daily scripture break. Psalm 19:1: "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.” Please take a moment and review these scriptures below. We often read passages like these and pause as we bask in a warm sensation of peace and wonder.  But these passages are so much more than that. It isn't a surprise to God we are greatly influenced by our physical senses.  These verses are an encouragement to our mind, conscience, and heart. God wants us to acknowledge “God’s (His) invisible qualities - His eternal power and divine nature…” because that acknowledgement links the physical world to the spiritual world - where we are called to become children of light. Please read each reference slowly and consider how the physical world is linked to the “invisible qualities” of our God.   Romans 1:20 -  "For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” Psalm 104:24 - "How many are your works, Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of Your creatures.” Matthew 6:28-29 - "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all His splendor was dressed like one of these.” Psalm 95:4-5 - "In His hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to Him. The sea is His, for He made it, and His hands formed the dry land.” Psalm 96:11-12 - “Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it. Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them; let all the trees of the forest sing for joy." With these beautiful references we just examined, I don’t know about you but I find myself mesmerized by the beauty in God’s Creation the older I get. Proverbs 4:18-22 says, "The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble. My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body.” It seems that as we mature in Christ it becomes almost painful to witness the darkness of our world.  This passage reminds us of the transition we undergo as Christians.  I love to get out into nature at sunrise and watch the splendor of God in action.  As the sun crosses the horizon, the very first light of sunrise is soft casting long shadows in the meadows and the light chases the darkness away.  The sun’s brightness eventually eradicates the influence of the darkness by high noon there are no shadows, no darkness.  Notice the passage refers specifically to the morning sun.  In the afternoon the process is reversed but we all hope for another morning sunrise.   With our salvation through Jesus, we are tasked to anchor ourselves to His immutable Word. For many it is the incredible beauty of His Creation that initially captures their imagination and draws them near to our Lord. Let’s review below these references of light and Christians being children of light.  God never allows "the afternoon sun" to permanently consume the light. In Lamentations 3:22-23, it tells us, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness." The hope of a new morning sun is gifted to us anew. 1. John 1:5 - "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” 2. Ephesians  5:8-9 - "For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth)…" 3. Matthew 5:14-16 - "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” 4. Philippians 2:14-16 - "Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.” 5. I Thessalonians 5:5 - “You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.” The Bible often uses different types of literary devices and styles of writing; it contains poetry, allegorical references, storytelling narratives, persuasive prose, etc.  There are numerous ways the Word of God recounts Who our God is.  But also remember the immaculate beauty of our universe testifies to the undeniable majesty and sovereignty of our God. The killer's wife worked for Tim Walz. The killer said Tim Walz ordered the murder in his confession letter. The killer named Tim Walz multiple times in his arraignment. Dark things are happening in Minnesota, man.

On January 30, 2026, after a three-week trial in Westchester County, a jury found both the psychologist and the surgeon liable for malpractice. $2 million. $1.6 million for pain and suffering. $400,000 for the medical bills still ahead. First verdict of its kind in the country. This should be banned for minors in America. All 50 states. At least until they are 18 and of a consenting age to choose what they want to do.

The end result- according to one conservative donor - is $3-4 BILLION per year that would otherwise be donated to conservative causes and candidates, but instead is being frozen by the IRS in practice .
