When it mattered, it was more important to Ashley Hinson to retain Trump’s favor and to be his “greatest ally” than to stand up for the people of Iowa.
Iowans deserve a senator who will be their greatest ally and who will defend the markets upon which our state’s manufacturers depend.

Two most logical outcomes from this are:
1. After taxpayer paid vacation (administrative leave) everything is ignored for qualified immunity
2. Department settles with family using taxpayer funds, and nothing happens to the offender.
If this were anyone else who trespassed and shot at your pet/livestock/property they'd be arrested. If you trespassed and shot a K-9 unit you'd never see the light of day again.
