The sports icons Leander Paes and Mary Kom were also part of the event and motivated the youth for a green and fit India. With the theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing” they embraced healthy living and better lifestyle in a powerful yoga session conducted by Visharad Smt Anju Mishra. Tennis legend Shri Leander Paes graced the event as Chief Guest sharing inspiring words on discipline determination and resilience. The Olympic and Grand Slam icon who has won Padma Bhushan Padma Shri Arjuna Award and Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna motivated the cadets with his belief that “the harder the battle the sweeter is the victory” and committed his support to NCC activities in sports and wellness.
