If Trump really wanted to support midterms, he should have seen beyond his greed, joined us as a country instead of pitting us against each other, withholding federal assistance from entities and states to foster imaginary strength while nurturing a rebellion to his liking. He is not a President that promotes wisdom and integrity, and has caused suffering and death for many throughout the world. Time to pay the piper, not piddling pennies to coerce votes.

The question is, why isn’t he doing it now, When Trump’s allies hold the majority in both houses? Isn’t that the very definition of demagoguery, making promises to win support instead of using the power you already have to get things done?

How the fuck does he think this works? It is the governments money. If it is even real. He doesn’t even possess a rudimentary knowledge of finance and government operations.

Byron Donalds ex-wife Bisa Hall says he told her he was from Jamaica and spoke with a Jamaican accent when she met him. She says he got his current wife Erika pregnant while they were still married. She says Byron still owes her money. wgcu.org/top-story/2024-07-0…

Byron bragged about voting for a bill in Congress that eliminated restrictions on offshore drilling. In Congress, I fought the plan to expand drilling off of Florida’s Eastern Gulf. Florida's coast is not for sale.

Cool message @ByronDonalds. Where were you while I was raising my kids in Florida. My son is 25 and he can't afford to live here independently. My daughter should be 23, but she was murdered here in the Parkland school shooting. Where were you while this state was becoming less safe and unaffordable? The answer Byron is you were pushing your red meat bullshit and ignoring what Floridians needed. @davidjollyfl is running for Governor to fix what you broke. He speaks to people like me. DAVID JOLLY WILL BE THE NEXT GOVERNOR OF FLORIDA!!!
37 days, Florida. On November 3, we decide whether the next generation can afford to call our great state home. I’m running for governor to protect the Florida Dream, lower costs, and ensure our best days are still ahead. I will never take your vote for granted. I intend to earn it—and keep every promise I’ve made.

There is something so unAmerican and so disturbing about an American president demeaning and poking fun at a fellow American president in the presence of a communist leader, while the previous president is battling cancer. It’s just so sickening.

Byron, you’ve received almost $5 million from insurance company executives, insurance lobbyists, and insurance companies themselves. You won’t do a damn thing to lower insurance rate because you’re owned by the insurance companies.
David, when there isn't enough money in your "sovereign wealth fund,” and there won’t be for at least 10 years, every policy holder in Florida gets taxed to bailout YOUR government created disaster. As Politifact put it: “The fees can be added to almost every type of insurance policy, including home, auto, renters and business. Because people are legally required to pay the additional charge, it functions as a statewide tax to bail out the public insurer.” FSU studied this. Are you saying that FSU knows less about insurance than you do? Jolly’s plan will make life more expensive for Floridians.

Republicans won the White House, House and Senate in 2024 without the SAVE Act being law. Now you’re saying they can’t win in 2026 without it? Maybe John Thune isn’t the problem. Maybe voters are tired of watching Republicans clap like drunk seals for every bit of buffoonery you cook up for Trump instead of governing.

If you are undecided in the race for Florida Governor, then please read this. It genuinely gets to the difference between Byron Donalds and @davidjollyfl. Actually, gets to the difference between both parties. One uses the idea of fraud and abuse as a slogan and as a way to abuse others, the other understands the facts and will help those he is elected to help. Fraud and abuse are happening in Florida and look no further than the ongoing HOPE Florida theft of $10 million dollars by the DeSantis administration from funds intended to help the author of this article. Byron Donalds has made clear he won't investigate, but David Jolly will. DAVID JOLLY WILL BE THE NEXT GOVERNOR OF FLORIDA!!!

An absolutely disgusting thing to lie about
Trump claims he was basically lifted out of the rubble on 9/11: "Two fireman, big strong guys, they grabbed me under the arms -- 'got to get our of here!' -- and they literally lifted me up, and they started running with me."
Community note
Trump was miles from Ground Zero on 9/11, speaking by phone from his office. He visited the area days later. His story of being lifted from the rubble by firefighters first appeared in 2021 and lacks corroborating evidence. politifact.com/factchecks/202… usatoday.com/story/news/fac… newsweek.com/fact-check-did…

It is hard to comprehend that state officials would use $10 million meant for poor children’s healthcare to fund their own political agendas. The scale and depravity of this corruption is stunning, even for Florida politicians. Anna Paulina Luna, who is facing questions about her own history of corruption, remains silent on this issue. She would rather protect her political friends than stand up for poor children who had their healthcare stolen. The House Oversight Committee, which Luna is a member of, should immediately launch an investigation into the $10 million Hope Florida scandal. cbsnews.com/miami/news/grand…
