When we tried to educate you and tell you that the constitution of SA protects the human rights of EVERYONE you insulted us and said there is no constitution that can protect the rights of illegal foreigners, you even accused us of advocating for illegality even though we never wrote the constitution and you were busy quoting the Immigration Act.
When the Constitutional Court agreed with us in June and declared some of those immigration laws you were relying on Unconstitutional you never came back to us to apologise and admit that we were right and you were wrong for thinking that a piece of legislation like the Immigration Act can override the constitution.
Now you say we are celebrating, when we knew this all along, and you are the only ones who just got a rude wake-up call from the Home Affairs Minister implementing the Constitutional Court’s decision.

What he did to amajacinta was a low blow, after they wasted the whole year marching and blaming the EFF the Home Affairs Minister of the DA announced that all illegal foreigners who have been abused in their countries and those who fear going back can come and apply for asylum documents so that they can continue staying here without anyone bothering them.
Thank you EFF for standing by the truth and telling these semi-illiterate and ignorant fools that the real problem here is their government.

🚨 THE EFF’S CONVENIENT CASE OF POLITICAL AMNESIA
Perhaps let me refresh the minds of those suffering from a very convenient case of political amnesia.
The City Manager, not the Mayor, has the authority to appoint senior management. During my tenure, the City Manager was appointed by Council through a process involving the multiparty coalition I led and the EFF was right there in that process. Their Caucus Leader sat on the selection panel.
So spare us the selective history. The EFF was not a spectator when the City Manager was appointed, and it was certainly not a spectator when General Sibiya was subsequently appointed by the City Manager.
You cannot participate in the process, watch the decisions unfold, and then years later manufacture a story that suits your political narrative.
If you want to attack ActionSA, kindly bring the facts. If you want to rewrite history, at least check the records first. I will not allow anyone to manufacture fiction and pass it off as the history of a City that once worked under my leadership.

The EFF is not saying it will fight for young graduates to sell tomatoes and brooms like you are doing. It says it will fight to formalise those who are informal traders to ensure that they move from informal to formal trading and they get support from the government.
