When mortgage rates were 3%, the monthly payment on a $500K house with 10% down was about $1,900. When rates rise to 9% next year, the same mortgage will cost over $3,600. At that rate, to reduce the payment to $1,900, the price of the house would have to fall by nearly 50%.

It is truly a dystopian society when citizens are arrested for showing a flag. This happened in Ottawa during 2022 as well. The police have become political weapons of this dystopian state.
An Edmonton Oilers fan was arrested and removed from the game after waving an Alberta flag. Serious question: do you think the same thing happens if he’s waving a Canadian flag?

COVID policies never made sense: why small stores were targeted but big box stores weren't. Bureaucrats shut down churches while politicians partied. We must discuss these issues. StateOfOurNation.ca Gala 2026, Burlington, ON #COVIDPolicy #Freedom

For years Fed chairs and Treasury Secretaries claimed that our debt was sustainable, but the path was not. That unsustainable path has finally reached the unsustainable destination that was always inevitable. Since we chose to stay on this path, we chose the crisis that's coming.

Too many people in Eastern and Central Canada don't understand the very real grievances that Alberta has. They don't get addressed. They are dismissed. This is part of why we are headed towards a referendum on exploring separation. Try listening to them.
Can anyway defend this allocation of Senate seats as fair and equitable? If yes - your IQ is at most 80. Shucks. If no - please engage in improving how Canada can move forward. Fair and equitable governance means we are rebuilding a great nation - not patronizing parts.

Canada’s invocation of the Emergencies Act was found to be illegal. Alberta’s public health orders were found to be illegal. Governments demanded compliance of the vax “for the public good.” Then they abandoned the injured. Where are the consequences for those in power? Where is the recognition of the harm done to the people? How do those involved have the audacity to lecture citizens about responsibility when they have yet to answer for their own decisions? And how are we supposed to trust leaders who demand accountability from everyone but themselves? You cannot convince me they are working for the people while they fight so hard to avoid accountability and refuse to acknowledge those harmed. Public office is not a shield from consequences. Those who refuse to answer for their mistakes or the harm they caused have no business holding power or lecturing the rest of us about right and wrong.

Bill Maher Delivers a Brutal Message to the COVID “Experts” Who Got It Wrong “A lot of the dissenting opinions that were suppressed and ridiculed at the time have proven to be CORRECT.” This includes, but is not limited to: • COVID came from a lab • Ivermectin worked • Masks offered no benefit and were harmful • Should have never kept kids out of school • Natural immunity is better than vaccinated immunity • Long COVID is often a symptom of long vax • Hospitals murdered COVID patients • COVID fatality rate and death count were highly inflated • Unvaccinated were scapegoated for the failure of the shots • Early treatment was suppressed to make way for a “vaccine” • Risks of the jab were intentionally hidden from the public • Vaccine mandates are wrong • More shots = more risk of infection • COVID shots are neither safe nor effective

In a few years the national debt will be $50 trillion. If by then we pay 8% interest, the annual bill will be $4 trillion, and annual budget deficits will likely be $6 trillion. How will we pay for that? Triple the income tax? Eliminate all entitlements and most federal programs?

A quick vocab lesson for the president: if you buy something from me, then we have a "trade deficit". It doesn't mean you got ripped off. It doesn't mean it's unfair. All it means is you ended up with more stuff and I ended up with more cash. youtube.com/watch?v=wwJqtzkw…

Interest charges on the federal debt cost taxpayers more than $1 billion every week. That amount of money could build a brand new hospital every week. But it's wasted paying interest on the federal debt.

Hey Carney, speaking of Singapore, have you ever wondered why it's usually in the top 5 countries in world on a per capita basis? Because it does pretty much the opposite of what you advocate: low taxes, free trade and minimal regulation.
Canadian exports to Singapore have more than doubled in the last five years.   Together, Prime Minister Wong and I are building on that momentum — to create major new opportunities for Canadian workers and businesses.   Read more on our call: pm.gc.ca/en/news/readouts/20…

Carney claims his industrial carbon tax has “zero” impact on grocery prices. All carbon taxes make life more expensive. Carbon taxes on refineries make it more expensive to drive. Carbon taxes on fertilizer plants make it more expensive to eat. Carbon taxes on electricity make it more expensive to live.

Global uncertainty continues to push energy prices higher, and that’s putting more pressure on Albertans’ wallets. Today I announced that relief is on the way. Starting Oct. 1, Alberta will suspend the full provincial fuel tax, saving Albertans 13 cents per litre on gasoline and diesel every time they fill up until the end of the year. This is practical relief that helps families, workers and businesses keep more money in their pockets. Albertans already pay the lowest overall taxes in Canada, and this cut adds to our unmatched tax advantage.
