I know that among my followers, MAID is reviled.
But I'm actually a supporter of it.
Having recently had a relative die horrifically, with pain that MAID could have alleviated, my support is stronger than ever.

They changed access to folders for bookmarked/saved posts to subscribers only, but where are the ones not in folders now?
So many basic functions are disappearing here, without notice, or ability to notify X of issues.

MCS/ES can become a debilitating, disabling medical condition (recognized by Human Right's laws), that gets worse when accommodations are denied & exposures can't be avoided. Daily exposures are now built into the toxic economy, & harm everyone, but in different ways.

What he ended up saying about the Carney government, was extremely complimentary

MAiD proponents act as if being killed is the only way to alleviate suffering if someone has the bad luck to be disabled or develop a chronic illness... Being killed (with a criminal code murder exemption) is not beautiful. Support to LIVE in dignity, however, is beautiful.

When a significant number of people report adverse health effects (some seriously debilitating) from exposures to a growing number of everyday products, one must question why so many everyday products are allowed to harm the health of so many people.
MCS rates vary across Canada. In 2020, Atlantic rates reached 4.6%–6.8% vs. 3.5% nationally. Preliminary 2025 data show 9.4% of Canadian adults report MCS; 2.7% report a diagnosis.

Some of us were screaming at our screens & typing up storms for people to wear masks when 9/11 & the Deepwater Horizon Oil "spill" happened, cuz their health would never be the same if they didn't, at minimum, mask up.
Officials & others knew too, but chose more harm for others.
For years, New Yorkers have demanded access to City records about the lasting health impacts of the horrific September 11th attacks. For years, they have been denied and ignored.
That ends today.
My administration is launching a free online portal for 9/11-related documents and releasing the first 170,000 pages today — available now at nyc.gov/sept11docs.
These records prove what families and first responders have long known: City government knew the conditions around Ground Zero were dangerous — yet lied to New Yorkers.
Thousands pay the price for this. They bear the effects of that day every time they struggle to breathe or visit the doctor. More people have died from 9/11-related illnesses than were killed on the day itself.
As we mark twenty five years since September 11th, our vow to Never Forget will not waver. We will remember — and honor — those we have lost with the accountability and honesty they deserve.

Canada designed MAiD (especially track 2 MAiD), to be very easy to access, knowing full well that supports to LIVE in dignity can take many years (if they exist), & that systems are designed to keep people in deep legislated poverty without adequate ways to meet basic needs...
In Canada, a doctor can raise medical assistance in dying with a patient before the patient ever brings it up—which is exactly what many jurisdictions prohibit, since patients are primed to defer to a doctor as the expert and may treat the suggestion as a recommendation rather than one option among many.
Only one witness is needed for a written MAiD request—and that witness can be a paid caregiver.
And if a patient is found ineligible for MAiD, there's no limit on how many times they can seek out a new assessor until they find one who says yes.
None of that is true in most of the jurisdictions we compared.

#ONStorm #ONwx ‼️🌪️ BREAKING: Environment Canada Forecasting HIGH Risk for Severe Thunderstorms Including Tornado Risk for Southern Ontario on Wednesday
As we highlighted this morning, Wednesday is shaping up to bring potentially the strongest severe thunderstorm risk we’ve seen in Southern Ontario so far this year.
Environment Canada has just released its latest thunderstorm forecast for tomorrow, showing a widespread ‘high’ risk across portions of Southwestern and Central Ontario, along with the Golden Horseshoe.
Hazards within the high-risk zone include 110-130 km/h wind gusts, up to golf ball-sized hail, 30-50 mm of rainfall and a tornado risk.
Locations within this zone include Sarnia, London, Goderich, Kincardine, Owen Sound, Collingwood, Orangeville, Guelph, Kitchener, Woodstock, Hamilton, Niagara, Mississauga, Toronto, Newmarket, Barrie, Orillia, Peterborough and Oshawa.
Surrounding areas, including Deep Southwestern Ontario, northern portions of Central Ontario and southern portions of Eastern Ontario, are under a ‘moderate’ risk for severe thunderstorms.
Hazards within the moderate-risk zone include 100-120 km/h wind gusts, up to golf ball-sized hail, 30-50 mm of rainfall and a tornado risk.
Locations within this zone include Windsor, Leamington, Chatham, Muskoka, Bancroft, Belleville, Kingston and Brockville.
For the Ottawa Valley, there is a ‘minor’ severe risk tomorrow, where we could still see some isolated marginally severe thunderstorms. However, the strongest severe weather threat is expected to remain south and west of the region.
Hazards within the minor-risk zone include 70-90 km/h wind gusts, up to toonie-sized hail and 20-40 mm of rainfall.
The main window for severe thunderstorms tomorrow is expected to be during the afternoon and early evening.
However, there is also the potential for storms during the early morning hours, particularly across Southwestern Ontario. Some of these morning storms could also pose a severe weather risk.
We are working on a detailed forecast that will break down the timing, locations and threats in more detail, and we’ll have that posted later today.

I'm sure there's absolutely no connection with the global push to legalize & expand the nice & tidy death by doctor assisted suicide or MAiD service, where they also harvest organs for transplant, & pay out life insurance... instead of supports for people to LIVE in dignity...
