Before becoming one of CTs most recognizable traders, Ansem was a software engineer learning how to trade from people sharing their knowledge for free
“When I first got into crypto in 2017, I didn't know anything”
“I just graduated from Georgia Tech, I was working as a software engineer”
“I learned the majority of my trading from crypto Twitter”
“People like Cobie, people like Moon, people like Trader Mayne”
“All that information people were putting out there for free”
“I didn't make a lot of money in 2017 and 2018”
“The lessons that I learned from them and from my first cycle is why I was able to do well in 2021 and why I was able to do well in 2023”
Ansem traces much of his trading education back to the early days of Crypto Twitter.
After graduating from Georgia Tech and working at Capital One, he entered crypto in 2017 with little trading experience.
Established traders like Cobie, Moon and Trader Mayne were openly sharing lessons about market cycles, Bitcoin accumulation, portfolio diversification, exchange risk and self-custody.
@blknoiz06 spent his first cycle absorbing that knowledge rather than making significant profits.
Looking back, he credits those early lessons with helping him navigate the opportunities that followed in 2021 and 2023.
The traders who shared their experience without expecting anything in return ended up shaping how he approached the market for years afterward.
