On the 18th of November 2025, the National Universities Commission and @EyeCity Africa hosted a high-level roundtable discussion on strengthening entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems in Nigerian higher education institutions. The convening brought together leaders from academia, industry, government, and development partners to explore ways to enhance university-industry collaboration, expand research commercialisation, and support student and faculty innovation. The event featured the presentation of preliminary findings of an ongoing research on HEI innovation, plenary sessions, open dialogue, and group discussions.
