The Baja California governor's ex-husband just got sanctioned as a cartel operator. You probably didn't hear about it. Trump's Treasury dropped 46 designations on the Sinaloa cartel's Los Mayos network, and this time they went past the street bosses. Carlos Alberto Torres Torres, ex-husband of Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila, was named for using his political pull to protect cartel operations in Mexicali. His brother was sanctioned for collecting and laundering the bribes. Mexicali's former police chief allegedly took cartel money so Sinaloa could run the city's cops. Our State Department pulled Carlos Torres's U.S. visa last year, and Fox reports the governor lost hers around the same time. The man on top of this machine is Ismael "Mayito Flaco" Zambada Sicairos. He was born in Anaheim, California, and holds dual citizenship. Treasury says his crew sent hitmen into Southern California and pushed fentanyl through Tijuana straight into our neighborhoods. What a beautiful night to be Catholic! Prayer to Archangel Michael Saint Michael the Archangel, defender of the faithful and prince of the heavenly host, I come before you and before God tonight with a grateful heart. Thank You, Lord, for hearing my prayers even when I don't say them perfectly, and for placing Saint Michael as a guardian over those who call on him. I ask for your protection over my life, my home, and everyone I love. Stand guard against anything that seeks to harm us — seen or unseen, spiritual or physical. You who cast down what threatened Heaven's order, cast out whatever threatens the peace of my household, my finances, my relationships, and my peace of mind. But Lord, I also bring You the specific battles I'm facing right now — the ones I haven't fully spoken out loud. Give me discernment to recognize what is working against me, and courage to stand firm when the fight feels bigger than I am. Where I am tired from defending myself alone, let Saint Michael's strength become mine. Thank You for never leaving me undefended, even in the fights I don't fully understand. Amen.
