Remembering Martyrs: On this day in 1536, William Tyndale was burned at the stake for translating the Bible into English. His last words were "Lord, open the king of England's eyes."

There are things you can never forget when you have seen God come through for you. When we didn’t have a roof over our heads, He came. When we had nothing to hold on to, He came. When there was no clear way forward, He made a way.

I know in the Tribulation that some children are going to put their parents to death. Imagine these same parents having miscarriages, etc., now. What is profound grief now will bring comfort after death, when having lost a child spiritually, they meet a child raised by Jesus.

“It’s a devastating reminder of what sin takes from us. Caleb went from lust, to betrayal, to adultery, to murder.”
I think what makes this story more depressing & alarming than him being an “American Idol alum” is that Caleb Flynn was a worship pastor. And despite having a wife & two children, something many men long for, Flynn decided he wanted more than what God gave him. He started having an affair with a woman at his church. Text messages show that they became obsessed with each other, & Flynn began to despise his wife. But despite hating his wife, Flynn refused to divorce her because he didn’t want to lose his kids, his reputation, nor his job (his father-in-law gave him a job working for him). But his affair partner would not keep seeing him unless they divorced, so he decided to murder his wife. It’s a devastating reminder of what sin takes from us. Caleb went from lust, to betrayal, to adultery, to murder. And now his wife is dead. His children are without both parents. His affair partner has been exposed and her life is ruined. And of course, Caleb ruined his own life. “Sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, but you must rule over it.”

One other thing: dad routinely discussed complex philosophical and theological debates at dinner table, debunked anti Christian talking points. When I went off to secular college I never heard an argument against Christianity I hadn’t heard before. Professors seemed less informed than my parents

The wicked know His wrath is imminent on them after they see the sixth seal signs (Revelation 6:12-17). His wrath is never on the abiding (Revelation 7:1-8, 9:4, 16:15). The Scriptures don’t have us removed physically first. Just like the Israelites during the last seven plagues.

Jacob’s Trouble isn’t God’s wrath on followers of Jesus.
Replying to @Markbhere2
We were told we’d face persecution just as Christ did the time of Jacob’s trouble is Gods wrath being poured out onto the world that’s the difference don’t confuse the two

Yes. And there are many ways Pre-Tribulation Rapture is refuted by the context of Scripture.
Replying to @Markbhere2
Christians in the United States should thank God for the freedom to live quiet and peaceable lives, worship openly, raise their families and serve Him without the level of persecution many believers face elsewhere. But that has nothing to do with whether the Rapture is pre-tribulation. Christians have suffered persecution throughout history, and Scripture never teaches that believers are exempt from persecution. The pre-tribulation question is about God’s prophetic timetable and the coming Tribulation, not about whether Christians can suffer before it.

And it will be after the entire Tribulation. (Many believers will also apostatize first.)

The rapture will be for ALL believers around the world.

This is true. Also, the great tribulation doesn’t bring the wrath of God on abiding Christians, not because they are caught up first (they aren’t), but because they walk in the light (abide).
Replying to @Markbhere2
The wrath of God is not the same as earthly persecution. Understand the difference, which the Bible makes clear.

The Tribulation isn’t God’s wrath on those who abide in Christ. And His wrath is limited to the seventh seal (the wicked know it’s coming imminently on them when they see the signs in the sixth seal, and they want to die).
Replying to @Markbhere2
No one ever said we wouldn't suffer. I never heard any pretrib pastor say that. We believe we won't suffer the tribulation. That's different. That's Gods wrath, not Satan's persecution. We are not appointed for His wrath. But Satan is still in charge here and he persecutes us everywhere. Kids at columbine. Charlie Kirk. The whole Swadley persecution in oklahoma. We dont suffer as much in the US, but we are persecuted. And thats consistent with every legit pastor i have heard teach on the subject.

God’s wrath is not hurting abiding Christians in the Great Tribulation. Some examples: Revelation 7:1-8, 9:4 (context 9:5-12), 16:15 (context 16:12-16). The context of 1 Thessalonians 5:9 isn’t that we are off the earth, but that we walk in the light (abide in Christ) (5:4-12).
Replying to @Markbhere2
The Christians around the world who are being martyred are not experiencing God's wrath (which is what the Great Tribulation will be predominantly characterized by). Also, evangelicals in the US do not "all" believe they will never suffer. Not only are you incorrect in your eschatology, but you are arrogant in your sweeping statements and generalizations.

The Bible doesn’t teach a removal of believers first. The parable of the wheat and tares is one of many examples. Both grow together until the harvest, and the wicked are gathered first—killed (Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43).
Replying to @Markbhere2
I agree that God can pour out his wrath without removing anyone from earth BUT, the Revelation timeline and Jehovah's Appointed Days both confirm he will remove the remnant before pouring out his wrath during the Great Tribulation

Even in the sixth bowl of God’s wrath, He’s able to make a distinction between those who abide in Him and those who don’t. He’s exhorting believers in Revelation 16:15. Also shielding in 7:1-8, 9:4.
Replying to @Markbhere2
The reason is: there's a difference in "trials and tribulations in this world" and "God's wrath poured out on the earth." Christians in Iran, Iraq & Lebanon are suffering at the hands of evil There will be a time when God's wrath is poured out Two separate things

Dear Followers of Christ, I want to encourage you not to get weary in well-doing. We can either be participants or sit on the sidelines. GOD is seeking those who will abandon the ways of the world and fully submit to Him. Let’s fan the flame of faith! Let's continue to pray what the Father is saying. Let’s spur each other toward advancing His kingdom. We need to show love. We need to press in for faith. We need to dwell in the Word of GOD — for truth! We need to live a life of repentance and forgiveness. It is written: others will recognize us by our fruit. YHVH is a GOD of judgment, and YHVH is a GOD of love. Idols, pride, greed, power, control, and corruption are about to be pulled down. GOD is judging the church first. He is giving us time to repent, but we should heed His warnings. The body of Christ — we need to seek GOD diligently. Stay in the presence of the LORD. Dwell in the Word of GOD. The Father’s focus is love, faith, and truth. Amen.

Scripture teaches left behind, but not the left behind of the pretrib view. 📖Matt 24:40-41 and Luke 17:34-35 both say “one will be taken and one left”. 👉This is the only left behind teaching in the Bible. ❓Is it the unbelievers who are left for 7 years, while the Church is raptured away❓ 👉No, there are multiple Scriptural contradictions of this view, but there are 2 that I want to point out. 📌1. No one is left behind for 7 years. The gathering of the believers and the unbelievers happen together. 📖 In the parable of the weeds and the wheat, Jesus said: “Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, “Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.”” 📌2. It is the unbelievers that are taken. 📖Matt 24:39 gives context: “they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man”. 📖In Luke 17:37, Jesus explains where those who are taken go: “Where the corpse is, there the vultures will gather”. The fulfillment of this is pictured in Rev 19:17 at Jesus coming: “Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he called to all the birds that fly directly overhead, “Come, gather for the great supper of God,”. ⭐️I have tried to cover many of the reasons that pretrib is not Scriptural out of concern that it creates a false hope for the many who now expect to be taken out of the world before the Antichrist and the tribulation. Please heed the warning and carefully test what you have been taught with what Scripture actually says. Don’t cherry-pick verses that may seem to give some support to pretrib without reconciling it with all the rest of Scripture.

Apparently there’s a lot of two state solution talk going on right now within the UN. Nothing has ever come of it yet, but the last sentence of Joel 3:2 (“They have also divided up My land.”) causes me to believe it will eventually be ratified.

Pre-Tribulation Rapture is not possible. There are many reasons. I explore them on my website (linked in profile).
Replying to @TheBelieverJC
I agree with pre-trib rapture theology as the strongest contender. And I agree it affects how we view present world events. But it is not the Gospel of Salvation. Perhaps the eschatological Gospel (Good News). But I’m not sure about the eschatological Day of the Lord meaning the Great Tribulation as I perceive that as the final outcome of human depravity - i.e. human doing- in line with God’s permissive will. As in, when the Church is removed, all Hell breaks loose. Jesus will return to judge the world and to save the world from self-annihilation-both being the shared meaning of Day of the Lord. So, just a conversation about that.
