Ekubo is arguably the most important DeFi app on Starknet.
It powers a huge part of the ecosystem’s trading liquidity:

NEAR is a great example of a project from a previous cycle making a comeback.
The team is genuinely OG when it comes to tech. They kept building, kept executing, never gave up, and eventually found PMF.
Today, near:native sits at the intersection of multiple trillion-dollar narratives: AI, intents, privacy, and the ZEC beta trade.
Great to see that thesis playing out.
I believe Starknet is next on the line.
Why? Because there are a lot of similarities between NEAR and Starknet:
- Both come from teams with deep technical roots and years of R&D behind them (StarkWare is in the trenches since 2018)
- Both went through a full cycle of hype, brutal drawdowns, and market disinterest without stopping building.
- Both spent years developing technology before the narratives around that technology became hot.
- Both are expanding beyond their original positioning into much larger markets.
- Both are now sitting at the intersection of several major crypto narratives rather than relying on a single use case. For Starknet, It’s now building at the intersection of privacy, quantum security, BTCFi, and very soon, AI.
> And in both cases, the tech kept improving while the token was largely ignored by the market.
Sometimes the fundamentals change long before the market starts paying attention.
I’m very optimistic about the future 🐺
