Big shoutout to my many talented friends and colleagues in the Mavs broadcast and content teams for another strong showing in the Lone Star Emmy Awards…with wins, by my count, for 21 different people in six categories. Always appreciative personally because Emmys are the standard of excellence in television and all forms that electronic/digital media has taken over the last few years. But super excited for the many on our TV broadcast who aren’t on camera but work long hours and do outstanding work. And particularly to see that recognized with wins for the entire broadcast in the “Live Sporting Event” category for the last two years. As I’ve said many times on my podcast w/ Brian, it’s not our job/responsibility to build the roster but it is our job/responsibility to make the broadcast the best it can be regardless of who is on the roster.
