Stephen for sure the real villain here. And he’s kind of nuts that sports talk folk LOVE screaming over one another but nary one of them said “STOP IT” when this man was being wildly insensitive.
Game 5 of his 2nd season in Detroit, the Lions loss 29-0 at New England. A New England team QB’d by Bailey Zappe. After a bye, they loss 24-6 at Dallas.
"Now he calls it quits, not before the season. Not in the offseason…four games into the 2026 season, a dude that has been in the league forever, sits back and says I need to focus on my mental health" – Stephen A. Smith on Lane Johnson retiring
She did say he was making light of it but I found my fiance dead 27 yrs ago from a gunshot, he bled to death. You don't joke your dont laugh!! Lane had a history of depression..players are killing themselves, young kids @espn fire him now.

Listen, in 3rd grade little league baseball, the first baseman’s mom ran the school cafeteria, and free pizza Fridays led to an undefeated season. So let’s keep all options on the table here.
I think the things blowing his issues up is how well Reese is playing across town. If you studied the kid you knew he had the exact issues he has now you were just praying he would evolve and he still has time to
If Taylor is back you get some more help on the offense. Reich loves the multiple TE sets and he was a good bailout option for Geno. Also want to see more quick sets on offense
One thing I want to see vs Browns is that aggressive secondary play. 3 INTs wiped away by ticky tack BS penalties. Bagent was 2-8 under pressure. Glenn gotta scheme some shit up. Hopefully Lynn can help that front 7 who needs something bad bad.
I'm not saying the #Jets will turn it around, again if you don't like AG this Bud ain't for you. For those who have faith look no further than the first two years of Campbell. It was ugly but people believed and they did something special
Funny you say this. No Gibbs. No La Porta. Hutchinson rookie year the year they turned it around. Then improved the next year by far. Didn't turn it around until November. They had talent but it wasn't a HUGE gap in comparison
The exact week that the Lions turned it around (you can look at the timing) is the week that Peyton Manning and Jeff Daniels used a bathtub of whiskey to appease their curse. Glenn just needs someone to solve the Jets curse like Campbell got.
Ben Johnson and AG were both on the staff. Both the offense and defense improved under the trio. I'm not giving an opinion. Do I know if Reich is the answer? No. But the offense when healthy looked competent.
