On a long car ride earlier, thought I’d finally play Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Can’t launch the game without an Ubisoft account. That shit is so lame. Try for High on Life 2, it’s “deck verified”. 20 minutes to load shaders, runs at single digit FPS. I struck out tonight!

Control Resonant has 2D interiors this is INEXCUSABLE for a $70 DOLLAR game in 2026. YIKES!

Control Resonant standard edition is priced at $59.99. Simplified or low-detail building interiors visible from outside or distance are standard performance optimizations (via LOD, faked geometry, etc.) in large-scale 3D games and not a unique flaw here.

it's so weird to me that Alan Wake 1 has such divisive opinions on it.
to me it has a tight gameplay loop that feels satisfying but the way some people talk shit about it, it feels like we're playing completely different games. is it a skill issue?
