“Irregardless.” I know you’ve made peace with it. I haven’t.

That's fair. You don't have to use it.

OED made a grave mistake re-defining “literally” to also mean “figuratively”

Hardly any Americans know that "discreet" and "discrete" are different words.

discrete = separate discreet = unobtrusive The E's are SEPARATED by the T in 'discrete.'

The word woman refers to adult human females and only adult human females.

You redefined racism to include a circular definition in order to make a bunch of ethnicity marxists happy. No one should take you seriously.

I have a lot, but the error that drives me the most insane is how often I see people write "would of" / "should of" / "could of" instead of the correct contraction.

Stop redefining words based on current popular sociopolitical bias. Destroys ability to communicate. Seriously: if you’re going to suddenly and badly redefine “woman” only because it’s part of current news cycle, y’all are useless and will be ignored completely.

"Peruse" means to read carefully. It does not mean to skim a writing and it certainly does not mean to wander around a store and casually look at items on display.

I will die on the hill of never trusting an online dictionary again, after you changed the definition of the word 'preference' in real time, during the Amy Coney Barrett hearing used the word and Maisy Hirono turned up her nose and claimed that we don't use that word anymore on October 13, 2020, 4:38PM. Sexual preference was mentioned and Sen. Hirono claimed it was offensive. By 6:00PM, you changed the definition, to include a usage note for the phrase 'sexual preference' to reflect that it was offensive and archaic. You changed the definition of a word because Mazie Hirono told you it was offensive. You are the reason I now collect dictionaries from every era. I won't be stuck with the likes of you telling me what words mean in real time. Make mine paper, thanks

I don't care how many people say it and if you, Webster, condone it, I just dont think irregardless is a word people should use.

People overreact to misspellings. U can read through spelling/ grammatical mistakes. Dont "huh?? Huh????" me if i send u "thats alrigjt" instead of "thats alright"

Incorrectly using nominative pronouns instead of objective ones. "That's between him and I." "They came to visit Mary and I." It's becoming ubiquitous.

Disinterested does not mean uninterested. It means approaching something without vested interest. You can be very interested in something and yet take a disinterested stance towards it.

Failure to use the subjunctive of requirement when a condition is contrary to fact. It’s “If I were a space alien” nit “If I was a space alien”
