🇺🇦 Valentyna Pushych was a mother and a woman who had built a career in international transport.
In 2016, she made a life-changing decision.
Valia left her civilian job and joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces as a combat medic with the 72nd Separate Mechanised Brigade.
She treated the wounded, evacuated injured soldiers under fire, and risked her own life to bring others back from the edge of death. Over the years, she saved hundreds of Ukrainian defenders.
On February 27, 2022, near Brovary in the Kyiv region, Valentyna was rushing to evacuate a wounded Ukrainian defender when the vehicle she was travelling in came under attack. She and the driver were killed💔.
Those who knew her remember a woman whose kindness and courage brought light into the darkest moments. As her friend said:
“Valia lit up people’s lives, she was a true warrior of light.”
This brave servicewoman was posthumously awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, 3rd Class, in recognition of her service and sacrifice.
She gave years of her life to saving others. Even in the face of war, she chose compassion, courage, and humanity.

A chemical tanker is enroute to Aughinish. It departed Buetzfleth, Stade, Germany. There is a Sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) manufacturing plant close to the jetty it departed from. This is used in the extraction of alumina from bauxtie.

This is pure horror. I spent two months in Ukraine this summer, and had russian missiles and drones explode all around me. I can tell you from personal experience that when the map looks like this, it’s pure horror. Keep supporting Ukraine in whatever way you can 🙏
This is what a country that sits in the UN looks like in practice.

🇺🇦 Yevhen Minzhener call sign "Andatra," was just 18 years old when he returned to Ukraine from Turkey.
After seeing the suffering in Bucha and Mariupol He decided to come home to fight.🫡
This young guy joined the Marines, became a drone operator, and later commanded a drone platoon.
In 2025, a Russian drone struck his vehicle. Yevhen survived but lost a leg.
He underwent painful rehabilitation, learned to walk with a prosthetic, discovered rock climbing, and eventually returned to military service because he felt he belonged there.
Yevhen was only 21 years old when he fell near Pavlohrad💔
He was so young. His life was filled with courage, energy, and determination. He should have had his whole life ahead of him.
