The 114 charges is just the beginning, and how long did that take? One to watch for a LONG time 😅 #MCFC

Since they’ve been found guilty, they shouldn’t be allowed to participate in the Prem until their appeal has been processed.

They have to lodge an appeal within 14 days. As per the PL rules, that appeal must be heard within 12 weeks of the appeal being received, absent of very strong cause for delay. Applying to high court is against the rules, although City might try. The process won't take years.

Owners needs to be kicked out. Previous example Abrahamovic. Strip them off the title they won during the period. Relegate them to league 2 And fine them, set a precedent otherwise @premierleague is no more credible.

People saying they cant relegated them as the football league wont have to accept them, that sounds like a 'them problem' to me. Expulsion from the premier league should be the punishment and its for them to negotiate with the football league where and if they will accept them

Dragged long enough, PL surely can’t allow this to go on too much longer. Bad enough a team is allowed to compete in a league for 3 years after being accused of cheating, but allowing the team to continue competing for another 2 years after being charged is ridiculous!

Crown Court trial is where this will likely end up.. City have always stated that they would keep fighting this, even if it took years and untold amounts of money. I also believe too many journalist have jumped the gun too early.

For the sake of other clubs and for the sake of Premier league , this must resolve as quickly as possible ! U can’t have a team that’s been cheating for so long still playing in the premier league ! U gonna have other clubs would cheat too knowing nothing will happen to them

I think Newcastle should be at the front of the queue, they were blocked by the cartel from investing in the team, so they could compete with the elite

"It can now be disclosed that the Premier League has succeeded in proving all of the substantive claims" That doesn't sound like a side that won 114 out of 115 cases It sounds like they won some cases on every subject, but lost others, and the result is probably more subjective

It's time for Manchester City to change its logo.
Manchester City have been found guilty on 114 of 115 Premier League financial charges, with sanctions still to come. Now that the verdict is in, is it time to go back to the previous (much cooler looking) logo?

the legal aftershock may end up lasting longer than the sporting argument, once compensation claims enter the picture the verdict stops being the end of anything

You can be given the punishments before the appeal and then have it reversed or adjusted depending on the outcome. They do not have to wait until the appeal is over. City can't drag this out

View is if they’ve been found guilty surely club has to cease to exist until they can prove innocent. We can’t have another farce of a season in limbo like the last 2/3 years. If this is the case the punishments need to be harsher. I believe this will be wrapped up by Xmas

City’s reputation is done. They’d be best taking themselves to NLN2 and starting again. Corrupt, horrible club.
