The laugh is good but “No.” Would’ve hit just as hard to such an awful question. Opinionated, inferring, and close ended. Doesn’t even warrant a response. Do better.
Ken Rosenthal: “was it important to win one just to show you’re on this level?” I’m so glad Taylor Walls laughed and told him it was disrespectful. Rosenthal knows what he was asking. We get it - the MLB media thinks the Brewers are amazing! #RaysUp

Bob Costas was 18 when his father dropped dead at JFK airport. At the wake, a man handed him a thick envelope with $6,000 in $100 bills. It was everything his father left behind, and a bookie would never have paid it to a dead man. In the video below, he tells the story himself. His father, John, was a big-time gambler. Not casinos, not racetracks. Ball games. Bob says the mortgage was literally riding on his bets. When the games went the wrong way, he threw things, cursed and yelled. Bob’s mom and sister would leave. Bob stayed, because watching the games with his dad was the only way to be close to him. Friday, May 15, 1970. A cop knocks on the door. Before he says a word, Bob’s mother asks, “My husband’s dead, isn’t he?” John Costas had a heart attack walking through JFK. He was 42. At the wake, one of his gambling buddies walked in with the envelope. “Your father was up when he died. Give this to your mother.” A bookie never pays a dead man, so the friend went to the bookie himself and said John sent him to collect. Decades later, Bob Costas refused to read sports betting ads on air. Today the bookie lives in everyone’s phone. Is that progress?

Is that the 2025-26 NBA champion New York Knicks or a bunch of dudes cosplaying as the Backstreet Boys? 😂😂

Nick Sirianni:
Nick Sirianni on Sean Mannion: "We've got to be able to score more points, period. It's the game of football. So, it's on everybody, right? It's not just on one coach. I don't know who I said this to: It's not just one coach on an island. It's not just one player on the island. It's not just one side of the ball that's on an island. It's the ultimate team game. We all have to do better, period. We all have to do better."

I watch a lot of high school football and Nick Sirianni’s offense is worse than anything I’ve ever seen. Predictability is one thing but not calling plays that work more than once is a choice I’ll never understand. Eagles need a HC with an identity and a play calling background

Who could forget June 8, 2018 when the Mets AA affiliate Binghamton Rumble Ponies, led by Tim Tebow and Pete Alonso, rebranded as the “Binghamton Spiedies” for a night to take on the Trenton Thunder, who were playing as their “Trenton Pork Roll” alter ego. Yoenis Céspedes also happened to be on a rehab stint at the same time.
Can you name this former New York Met?

When I was in college this man had a saying along the lines of: “why would any kid want to be a pro athlete when anyone could be the next Stephen A.” College Broadcasting programs used his story as inspiration to climb the ranks, now he’s just an example of what NOT to do.
"Now he calls it quits, not before the season. Not in the offseason…four games into the 2026 season, a dude that has been in the league forever, sits back and says I need to focus on my mental health" – Stephen A. Smith on Lane Johnson retiring

Long before I was calling games, My dad made sure me and my brother saw every game @Steve23Slaton played in HS and in college. I still have his autograph hanging in my childhood bedroom and his signature is still on the wall at my Dad’s bar to this day! “Super Steve Slaton”
West Virginia strikes first on a 38 yard touchdown run by Steve Slaton. The Mountaineers are up 7-0 early on.

Making a bunch of 300 pound guys move laterally on every run play doesn’t seem to be working for the Eagles offense.
