Exclusive: a Hawk T2 getting airborne from RAF Valley, N. Wales. As it rolls down the runway flames appear from the rear of the jet. The Hawk T2 does not have reheat (afterburner). As the jet climbs the flames seem to disappear. The main Hydraulic system is on the rear left side.

I’ve watched jets from this spot many times. The Hawk T2 is getting airborne off Runway 31 (Rhosneigr end). The crash site was near Pencarnisiog, which is turning finals for Rwy 31. About 80% around the circuit to land.

It’s unusual to capture an ejection like this. It’s a Hawk T2 aircraft based out of RAF Valley, Anglesey, North Wales. I grew up 3 miles away and have 100hours on the Hawk T1 (what the @rafredarrows currently operate). You can see 2 Martin Baker ejection seats departing Hawk.

Trump said that russia “unfortunately, has lost control of its oil refining industry” and has again asked Zelenskyy to stop hitting russian oil refineries. (Financial Times) Zelenskyy’s response is perfect: Ukraine is ready to stop striking russian refineries - if russia stops attacking Ukraine’s energy system, critical infrastructure, and food exports. (Interfax-Ukraine) In other words: Ukraine is offering reciprocity. But until russia stops, Ukraine has every reason to continue putting pressure on the infrastructure that helps finance and sustain russia’s war. And that pressure is increasingly effective. In the latest attack, Ukrainian drones struck the Moscow Oil Refinery. Fires damaged both of its primary crude-processing units (AVT-6 and Euro+) which together account for 100% of the refinery’s crude-processing capacity. The refinery has now halted crude processing. Repairs could take weeks. (Reuters) This is what leverage looks like.

There is no evidence, reporting, or through close sources, that Ukraine has targeted U.S. ships. Tankers chartered by US oil majors have been hit by drones near a Russian Black Sea terminal, although Ukraine hasn't claimed those specific strikes.
The US will likely soon attack Ukraine. "In recent months, ships with US ties have repeatedly been targeted by Ukraine—possibly unintentionally, but deliberately nonetheless. We cannot allow this. This problem must be resolved," said Rubio. He added that it would be beneficial to reach an energy truce between Ukraine and Russia. Regarding the rise in oil prices, he explained that it was "linked to the situation in the Black Sea and in Yemen." Like all other representatives of the Trump administration, Marco made no comment regarding the Strait of Hormuz. The MAGA politicians under Trump are a bunch of liars, narcissists, mafia members, and scum. Did I forget anything?

Another major GRU/FSB blunder, on par with the Google Translate fiasco. And another win for the FBI. (We at @InsiderEng and @derspiegel have been tracking this cell for months and will publish a full investigation in the next few days). A few highlights below.
Members of Russian intelligence services network charged with conspiring to finance terrorism and commit murder for hire in the United States: “We will not tolerate efforts to finance terrorist activities and engage in acts of violence—particularly when these activities are commissioned by state actors and touch American soil,” said U.S. Attorney Jamie McDonald. @TheJusticeDept @DOJNatSec @FBI @NewYorkFBI @FBIWFO justice.gov/usao-sdny/pr/mem…

In 2021 Russia put up an ASAT to purposefully destroy one of its COSMOS satellites. This created over 15,000 fragments in orbit that put the ISS at risk.
Kremlin: Russia believes space should remain free of weapons and hopes for broad international support for the complete demilitarization of space.

There are 500+ satellites in orbit capable of high-res imagery. Satellites are vulnerable to debris strikes/ technical failures like exploding fuel tanks. Taking a ‘non-reversible’ action on a satellite would only increase the debris in orbit putting other satellites at risk.
🇺🇸🇮🇷🇨🇳 A Chinese satellite that may have helped Iran kill U.S. soldiers just mysteriously broke apart in orbit, and nobody is explaining why... China supplied Iran with high-res satellite imagery of a U.S. military base in Jordan before an Iranian attack in July, according to the Wall Street Journal. That attack killed 3 American service members... They called it the clearest evidence yet that Chinese support for Iran had LETHAL consequences for U.S. forces. 6 weeks later, China's Yaogan-50 military reconnaissance satellite, the type used to gather imagery of military bases, ships, and troop movements, broke apart in orbit creating 43+ debris fragments. Cause: officially unknown. China's embassy DENIES the imagery claims. U.S. officials stopped short of alleging direct Chinese government involvement. But the sequence is difficult to ignore: Chinese satellite data helps kill American soldiers, and a Chinese military reconnaissance satellite silently disintegrates weeks later with no explanation... Did the U.S. take it out? Nobody is saying that. Nobody is saying they didn't. Source: WSJ, Space News / Writer: Michael

Didn’t Russia say that about Ukraine?
Putins key aid Patrushev: “In the event of Polish and Russian military confrontation we would capitulate Poland in 3 days.”

A nepo individual, gifted with a job he is not qualified to do, and is so far out of his depth I despair for the people of Gaza, Iran and Ukraine.
US special envoy Jared Kushner said on Sunday that Gaza was “built by NGOs and terrorists”. He added that Gaza's Board of Peace was working on a plan to demilitarise the strip but faced “political issues in Israel” where a “crazy election” made leaders “a little irrational”.

Pretty accurate assessment here 👇🏼
The Weakest America in Eighty Years, and Moscow Has Noticed Let me tell you what the Kremlin sees when it looks west, because it is not complicated. It sees an America weaker than at any point since 1945, run by a man so frightened of Putin that he switched off every dollar of help to Ukraine after one bad afternoon in the Oval Office. Russia responded in the only language it speaks, launching more than 800 drones in a single night and turning the sky over Kyiv into a permanent fireworks display. Moscow also sees something rather more amusing. It sees an America without a single friend left in the world, and a president who, by the Kremlin’s cheerful reckoning, is now less liked abroad than Putin himself. Think about that for a moment. And Beijing has been taking notes too. A friendless America went into Iran, declared victory in March, called it over in July, and is still there in September, insisting for roughly the hundredth time that the war has ended. Nobody believes him. Least of all Tehran.

Russia invades Ukraine. These negotiations place no responsibility on the aggressor, Russia. Ukraine is killing/wounding 30,000 Russians every month. Putin’s energy infra is under immense pressure due to deep strike targeting using FP1 drones/FP5 cruise missiles & U.S Intel!
🇺🇦🇷🇺 According to the Ukrainian media “Glavkom” the new Trump peace plan brought by Kushner & Witkoff is total surrender in front of Russia: - Complete ceasefire - Withdrawal of Ukrainian forces from Donbas and Zaporizhzhia Oblast with possible deployment of UN contingent there - Ukraine's non-aligned status and renouncing NATO accession - Referendum and elections - Constitutional amendments - Kyiv renouncing the forcible return of territories that would come under Russian control - Limitations on the size of the Ukrainian Armed Forces - Agreements on language issues - The signing of a full-fledged peace treaty by the new Ukrainian government, followed by ratification through a special procedure at the UN. @I_Katchanovski

The critical vulnerabilities across the Persian Gulf are PAC 2/3 Patriot and THAAD missile interceptors. The IRGC knows this. But apparently 90% of Iran’s ballistic missile capability was destroyed according to Hegseth.
BREAKING: Iran is launching ballistic missiles from all over the country, in a large-scale wave. So far, Tehran, Karaj, East Azerbaijan, Urmia, West Azerbaijan, Zanjan, Shiraz, Lorestan and Khorramabad. Multiple explosions at the Muwaffaq Salti US base in Jordan minutes ago, the first target.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the CIA were working a course of action courting Russian generals opposed to Putin’s failing strategy. Watch this space.
CIA director reportedly told the Kremlin Russia has only advanced 1 percent in territory in 18 months and the average life expectancy on the frontline for a Russian soldier is 35 minutes-NYT

Lajes Field is in the Azores, Portugal, 1,000 miles west of Lisbon in the middle of the North Atlantic. Air Base No. 4 of the Portuguese Air Force, hosts the US Air Force’s 65th Air Base Group. Without doubt a critical enabler for the U.S across Europe & the M.E. Thanks NATO.
Five F-35A Lightning lls, going by the Callsigns: RETRO61/62/63/64/65, departed the United States early Wednesday bound for Poland, where they are expected to soon join the Polish Air Force’s 2nd Tactical Air Wing at the 32nd Tactical Air Base in Łask. Three U.S. Air Force KC-46A Pegasus supported the F-35s in their Atlantic crossing, with a stopover at Lajes Field before continuing on to Europe.

The UK Typhoon force are training on what’s called Drone CAP (combat air patrol) mission profiles. They’re also using the APKWS (Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System) - basically a guided rocket designed by BAE for this role. I’m hoping other NATO countries are doing the same.
A RO-Alert is currently ongoing in Romania’s Tulcea County due to Russian drones operating close to the Romanian border. According to Romania’s Ministry of Defence, radar detected a group of aerial targets in Ukrainian airspace, close to the Romanian border, at around 10:08 local time. Authorities issued a RO-Alert for people in northern Tulcea County at 10:18. Two Spanish F-18 fighter jets stationed at Mihail Kogălniceanu were scrambled to monitor the situation, followed by a Romanian IAR-330 Puma SOCAT helicopter. This is the 4th time in the past 24 hours that Romanian authorities have issued an alert in connection with Russian drone activity close to the Romanian border.
