I have been very busy with helping my nephew get the help we need. When he called me and he didn't speak and I can hear him crying I knew immediately what was wrong. I felt that back in June. And I am just trying to do the same steps we did last time with Hercules. We have been blessed to get a next day appointment in OKC that was referred from his vet and my oncologist here in Fort Worth just to get the needed tests and imaging completed for a consult and same day examination next Thursday here in Fort Worth.
I was on the phone pretty much all morning until after lunch. I even called my nephew's ASPCA insurance Daisy has to make sure to know what his current deductible, total amount she is covered and to make sure they will cover an oncologist in another city and state. I know he isn't in the state of mind and wherewithal to do this on his own. He's 22 and still figuring life out let alone having a dog with terminal cancer now. This time next week they may tell us to let her go, or they can let us know what kind of hospice care we can give her. โค๏ธ ๐ ๐ถ ๐พ
