Roger Goodell isn't worried about what Jay-Z has planned for the 2027 Super Bowl halftime show. In fact, the NFL commissioner says he's giving the rapper his full trust.
"I think he's already got his vision; he already understands what he wants to do."
The commissioner says Jay-Z has considered headlining the show for years, but repeatedly held off. Now, as he marks 30 years since his debut album and wraps up his tour, Goodell says the rapper believes it's finally time.
"He’s a genius," Goodell adds, praising not only Jay-Z's musical creativity but also his business instincts and sense of timing.
"I trust him."
