“Somebody gets paid to fix it” is one of the worst excuses we teach kids. If you picked it up, changed your mind, and know where it came from… put it back. Yes, stores have employees. No, that does not mean we should intentionally make their job harder. Consideration is thinking about the person who comes behind you, even when nobody is making you. That is the kind of character I want these girls to have.

BREAKING: DHS says ICE has arrested a Nigerian illegal alien campaign staffer for Democratic Congressional nominee Janelle Stelson, who is running against Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA) in PA-10, considered to be a tight/toss up race. Per DHS, while working as a canvasser for Stelson, Chimaobim Adedayo Igbojekwe was arrested by police in East Pennsboro Township, PA after he was caught in public with his pants off, fully exposing himself in a residential neighborhood near a park and children. He pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct. ICE arrested him after his conviction. DHS says he is a visa overstay who was granted deferred action by the Biden administration in 2021. ICE statement: “It’s unbelievable that Janelle Stelson would employ an illegal alien to work on a Congressional campaign, let alone a pervert who exposed himself in public,” said ICE Deputy Director Charles Wall.“Every single day, the men and women of DHS are working hard to target and remove dangerous illegal aliens like this sicko from our communities."

For me, this is the worst video from Oct 7. How the first little girl seemingly disappears in a cloud of her own tissue; how the second little girl cowers. What was she thinking in those final moments. It’s why I don’t forget the savagery.

The left in the West does this weird noble savage thing about Islamic terrorists where they invent various "blowback" or economic, rational grievances instead of simply taking evil people at their word for their own motivations. It may be hard to understand for a Westerner, but it's not hard to figure out. They just say it.
TERRORIST: “Hello, dad! Dad, I am inside Mefalsim [Israel]—open your WhatsApp right now, and see all the killed. Look at how many I killed with my own hands! Your son killed Jews!” FATHER: “Allahu Akhbar, Allahu Akhbar! May God protect you.” TERRORIST: “This is inside Mefalsim, father. I am talking to you from the phone of a Jew—I killed her and her husband—I killed ten with my own hands.” “Open your phone and see how many I killed, father. Open your phone, I am calling you on WhatsApp.” FATHER: Crying (unintelligible). TERRORIST: “I am in Meflasim, father. I killed ten! Ten! Ten, with my own bare hands! Their blood is on my hands! Let me talk to Mom—” MOTHER: “Oh, my son, may God protect you!” TERRORIST: “I killed ten all by myself, mother!” FATHER: “May God bring you home safely.” TERRORIST: “Father, go back to WhatsApp! I want to call you live from Mefalsim!” MOTHER: “I wish I was there with you!” TERRORIST: “Mother, your son is a hero. I was the first to enter under the guidance and with the help of Allah. Father, lift your head—lift your head!” (Talking to terrorists on the scene: “Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill them! Inside, inside, into the city!”) BROTHER: “Mahmoud, Mahmoud. Come back [to Gaza]—that's enough, return.” TERRORIST: “Return? There is no return—it is victory or martyrdom. My mother gave birth to me for Islam, Alaa. Are you serious? How will I return? Look at WhatsApp—look at your phone—look at all the dead.”

Desecrating the memory of murdered, innocent Jews today of all days and refusing to even condemn Hamas is obscene. There are 364 other days you can wrongly criticize Israel for defending herself. If you had respect for the dead, you'd just acknowledge the tragedy, but you don’t.
This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss. The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes. Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment. To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.

U.S. golf courses drink about 531 billion gallons of water a year. Data centers—accounting for both direct cooling AND power grid use—use ~230 billion. One lets people hit a ball. The other powers the entire digital economy for less than half the water. They both can stay.
Three out of every four Americans say they’d oppose a data center being built near them. Their biggest concerns: water usage and rising electricity bills. And, as our new video explains, the data on both of those issues … doesn’t match up with the anxiety.

17 days after the Oct 7 Massacre, while Israel was still sifting through ashes to identify the 1200 Jews who were raped & murdered, Zohran Mamdani led a pro-Hamas rally calling for a "ceasefire" even though the IDF hadn't gone into Gaza yet. His wife even celebrated the attack

NEW: I'm told by federal sources that the parents of the 18-year-old man arrested by the FBI for allegedly plotting an ISIS inspired mass shooting at Minnesota’s Mall of America are both Somali nationals who first flew into New York in 2000 and were later naturalized into U.S. citizens. Mom in 2010, dad in 2017. It's unclear how they initially came in (visa, refugee, etc). The suspect, Sheikhdoon Abdullahi Mohamud, was born in the US in 2008 before his parents were naturalized, and he received his US citizenship as a result of birthright citizenship.  DOJ says Mohamud's parents refused to speak with the FBI when they tried to make contact with the family last year when there were initial indications of potential radicalization.

This is one of my favorite charts. 📊 Regular gas prices in 🔴 states vs. 🔵 states. Gasoline prices have risen for everyone since the Iran War started in February. There is absolutely no doubt that the blockade in the Strait of Hormuz (which, as of the time I'm writing this, is improving) was the cause. But regardless of recent price trends amidst ongoing geopolitical tensions, prices tend to be cheaper than the national average and median (a more appropriate metric) in red states. On the other hand, blue states tend to run more expensive, the exceptions of course being Colorado (a surprise to me), Maryland (barely), and my home state of Virginia. These differences primarily boil down to gas tax rates. Democrat-run states have higher tax rates because, well, Democrats like higher taxes. This should not be a shocker to anyone. California takes the cake, though. The gas tax rate of $0.63 / gallon is the highest in the United States, and environmental regulations (e.g., cap-and-trade and their low-carbon fuel standard), which add another $0.21 to $0.26 / gallon, impose significant burdens on consumers. Assuming that you drive a vehicle with a 26-gallon tank and fill up every 1.5 weeks, on average, Californians spend ~$2,335.36 more per year on gas than Indianians. Left-wing energy policies are nuts.

A grandson begged Spanberger's parole board not to release the man who broke into his grandparents' home and murdered them. The convict was serving three life sentences. Spanberger’s parole board released him anyway.
🚨New: Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger’s hand-picked parole board released eight out of ten felons during Thursday’s parole meeting. These are people who were convicted of murder, rape, robbery and child abuse. Many of them had decades left on their life sentences. WJLA analyzed all of Spanberger’s parole board’s decisions since their first meeting. I found that out of the 205 discretionary and geriatric parole cases the board considered, Spanberger’s board granted 48 felons parole. That’s almost ONE in FOUR felons who requested early release being granted parole. It's a significant jump compared to former Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s parole board.

This is a common misconception of the case. Even though the county DA brought no criminal charges, Cornell did its own investigation and ruled that the fraternity seven members violated university policies. Two were expelled. Two were given long suspensions. One (who had graduated) was banned from campus. The two least involved were "ordered not to contact Jane Doe, to study sexual harassment, social media use and bystander intervention, and to write 'reflection papers,'" according to NYT. And then: the entire fraternity was permanently shut down. In the end, the university punished all the members of Chi Phi, whether or not they had anything to do with the events in question. washingtonexaminer.com/daily…
Wait! Until now, I thought Cornell did nothing to the frat members.

I never thought that there was a paucity of lawyers in New York, but it seems that they are rounding up the usual suspects in politicized litigation. First, Gov. Hochul appoints Letitia James, the single most political AG in the country, as special counsel. tinyurl.com/3dycjfj3 Now Cornell has hired Sally Yates as its investigator. foxnews.com/us/cornell-picks… Yates ordered Justice Department attorneys not to assist Trump after he was elected in 2016 on his immigration policies. jonathanturley.org/2020/11/3… ...
